This quaint bed and breakfast is located near the Garden District in a residential neighborhood. This neighborhood was quiet and lined with greenery. My sister, a friend and I rented out a master bedroom plus parlor. We were greeted by Patricia, the wife of the husband and wife team that run this nice place. The rooms were all non-smoking to...

Inn keepers and staff are outstanding. Clean comfy accommodations and breakfast is a delicious delight. Tom and Patricia make you feel at home. Looking forward to my next trip to N.O. and will definitely stay at Maison Perrier again.

Great location convenient to St. Charles streetcar. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Only drawback - stayed in one the separate-from-main house buildings (rose room) and had trouble keeping room temp right (thermostat outside in hallway) Stayed 3 nights but was only able to have breakfast one day (due to our schedule) - but that one day was both good and plentiful.

We stayed 2 nights and were offered a complementary upgrade to the Pamela room (in the adjacent building)- a large room with separate heating, TV, and king sized bed. Patricia and Tom are welcoming hosts and Tom spent about a half hour on our arrival sharing the particulars of the house and offered help navigating around the garden district (we...

This was our first trip to New Orleans together, and it certainly won't be our last. The B&B is a charming home in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood in the Garden District, away from the craziness of the Quarter. It was a very comfortable walking distance to the St. Charles Streetcar that made traveling to the main hot spots in New...

Stayed here over a weekend with some friends. Tom and Patricia are wonderful hosts. Breakfast is great, hot food and includes protein and not just a bunch of sweet stuff. We loved the ability to walk down Magazine and St. Charles streets and enjoy the Garden District. Streetcar stop is not far away. Restaurants in walking distance. Uber pickups and...

We just returned from vacation and needed to express our opinion of the Maison Perrier Bed & Breakfast in the Garden District of New Orleans. The place is clean - neat - friendly and perfectly located. The owners are very helpful in suggestions about the city as well as making their guest feel welcome.

I'm not a big fan of B&Bs in general, but this may have changed my mind. Gracious hosts, wonderful staff, tasty breakfasts, and I got really used to having a "nightcap brownie" on our way back in. Great location close to Magazine street and colleges.

We've stayed at a number places in New Orleans from chain hotels in the French Quarter to other B & B's in the Garden District, and I would say this bed and breakfast is so far our favorite. The owners are kind and hospitable and always make you feel welcome and at home. There are almost too many special touches...

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
