The Hotel is excellent and the Hotel staff is there to serve you. No matter how busy they are, they make you feel like you are the only guest. From the Valet parking, to checking in, to the connection to the Casino and the friendly staff, it was a great experience.

Trying to find free parking for the Casino was difficult. Signs were not clearly posted or marked. Having to valet the car cost us a minimum of $10.00. The casino in and of itself was nice. No smoking and the smoking area outside was covered. Nothing special.

We were staying at another hotel and just went over to check it out but the people were all helpful and friendly. We would recommend this property and are probably going to stay here for our return trip because everyone made us feel so welcome.

My experience was great. I didn't stay at the hotel, but I love that I didn't have to pay for parking. The drinks was nice and definitely will tell my family and friends and we will definitely be back.

Good luck ever sqeezing a comp out of this casino. Would be a great poker room if management cared about poker at all. Better to drive to Biloxi and pkay at the Beau Rivage, where they act like they like having players in the poker room.

don and Tim at the let it ride table were great. Lynn the waitress was nice and always makes her way around. The smoking area could have table games in my opinion. Overall the experience was great just like the other times.

Very accommodating staff who always take pride in doing their best to make your stay memorable. Need a favor...just ask and they will try to do their best. This is Harrah's property so having a players card is the best way to search for a reservation at a reduced rate. My stay for four days was under $100 total. Use...

The room was dirty, the carpet was frayed, walls and doors were dirty. The air vent was filthy and the room smelled. Not happy at all about the appearance of the room. This is not a cheap hotel so I was totally surprised at the appearance.

Harrahs in New Orleans is a great place to stay when visiting NOLA. Our room was right on the muddy Mississippi and the River Walk. This has a great view however it can be noisy at time..but definitely worth it to see the ship and paddle boats coming up the river. The staff is fabulous.

We had a nice room over looking the river. Room was clean and well taken care of. The air conditioning work really well, which in New Orleans is a plus. I enjoyed the big tub! After a day of walking the city, it was nice to be able to "soak" at the end of the day. we also had a...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
