We were greeted by Krystal's warm and friendly smile. We had a long 9 days of traveling the Delta Blues Trail. New Orleans was our last stop and probably our most memorable because our lovely desk host was determined to make us feel as comfortable as she possibly could. Arrangements were made for our car to be valet parked and...

The hotel is very nice with lots of history. The front desk staff was informative. The court yard was lovely. Breakfast was sparse and late. The room was nice but the bed sagged terribly to the middle.

All previous reviews of hotel are spot on. Yes the bathroom was small but this is an old hotel and one must take this in to consideration. I hope management realise their best asset is their staff. Linda at reception who was so professional, courteous, always smiling, to Annie who delivered our breakfast each morning . These 2 ladies in...

This was my first visit to New Orleans a trip I wanted to take for a lifetime. The Andrew Jackson was diffrent than what I expected. It was historic and quaint and located within walking distance of many bars, museums and entries (i.e. the Gumbo Shop). The experience was amazing. The hotel staff were so friendly and it was obvious...

Of all the staff we met Krystal Foster stands out. But we have found all the staff to be kind and considerate as we are elderly travelers that was most appreciated by us. The breakfast are ok the and served in the courtyard which is brilliant with a lovely fountain. As I I write we are still in residnce.

Great stay. The front desk staff was very friendly. Our room was classy, clean and cool. Some reviews noted breakfast was a little light with only 1 croissant. Front desk attendant suggested we request 2 when complering the breakfast card, No problem. Location was perfect. Easy walk to everything French Quarter. Nice to be able to stop in mid day,...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again! Great French Quarter location, but far enough out to be quiet at night. Clean, room, though not large and spacious. If you need a larger modern room, this was not it. If you want old New Orleans Charm in a courtyard building in a quiet convenient area of the Quarter, this is...

Hotel staff supper friendly and accommodating, Krystal was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable of the area and super helpful! Back courtyard was very nice to hang out, or just a quite space to get some work done! Breakfast delivery was a nice touch!

This is the best hotel to stay in the French Quarter. The staff and property is the best. The breakfast served on silver trays was brought to our room. It was a real treat. Krystal at the front desk was so nice and we enjoyed talking to her.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
