The Saint Hotel is a favorite Marriott Autograph Collection hotel on Canal Street in New Orleans. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are tastefully decorated. If you are lucky enough to get upgraded to one of their suites you will be amazed....More
My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend trip to NOLA. Great hotel, great ambiance. Love the old pictures of NOLA that are on the walls and the doors. Great location right on Canal street, within walking distance to Bourbon street. Make sure...More
I really enjoyed my 5 nights at the Saint. We were greeted by a very friendly concierge and check-in staff, who made us feel welcome. Location of the property was great, a leisurely 5 minute walk into the heart of the French Quarter, which allowed...More
Passed through New Orleans on our way back from Destin. Wanted a location near the French Quarter. This looked to be a modern hotel with a good location. Our stay was just barely average at best. Valet and bell staff stood around and watched us...More

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

There is valet parking available, which can be a bit pricey. Honestly, if you don't have to have a car with you, I wouldn't. The hotel is located about two blocks from Bourbon Street (about a 5 min walk, if that) and also very close to other tourist spots (like Jackson Square, Garden District, etc.) You can always uber/lyft to places for a cheaper price than the valet parking price.
