At first, the hotel staff seems disorganized, but you just have to click into their rhythm and it all falls into place. The location is great for the French Quarter, but you are at one of the edges, so you don't get caught up with...More
We've had good experiences in the Autograph Hotels because we like the mix of old and new and they're not your usual and predictable hotel. At our stay here (4 nights) we were able to be upgraded to a suite for 3 of the nights...More
My wife and I took a "getaway" trip to do some sightseeing, and have fine cajun food. Saint was the perfect place! Everyone at the hotel was VERY cordial and helpful with suggestions and even bookings for such things as boat ride on the Mississippi...More
this place is really great, close to the Quarter, right on Canal St.
comfortable rooms, great bar on the Lobby level, heard some really good Jazz. Hope to stay there again. We had really surprising entertainment on our last night, Jazz and a Burlesque show....More
We really enjoyed our stay at The Saint. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the reception area was awesome. The room was small but very clean. I recommend staying on an upper floor facing the street as there is always something happening down below....More
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

There is valet parking available, which can be a bit pricey. Honestly, if you don't have to have a car with you, I wouldn't. The hotel is located about two blocks from Bourbon Street (about a 5 min walk, if that) and also very close to other tourist spots (like Jackson Square, Garden District, etc.) You can always uber/lyft to places for a cheaper price than the valet parking price.
