I had read some mixed reviews about this place, but we tried it and we had not one complaint. The place was great! We were greeted with Gavin who helped us unload and sort out getting all our bags up to the room. Then upon check in, we were given free beers to take the edge off that long drive....

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly, the concierge was full of knowledge and gave great tips, the location was a short walking distance from everything, and the rooms were very quiet and comfortable.

This is a small hotel, just for sleeping. It is located adjacent to French Quarter, one block from Canal St. Nice and quiet, the beds are firm and comfortable. The temperature dropped severely during our stay, but a call to the desk brought some extra blankets in the middle of the night. Cleanliness is average, the person cleaning our room...

The hotel is located in the Business District but just a block away from Bourbin street. Just know they have several rooms in the center of the hotel and they don't have a window. If i had known those were the rooms at a cheaper price, I would have considered a higher priced room. The one thing that bugged me...

Dear leticiah2017 - We apologize for the challenges regarding parking during the New Years/Sugar Bowl week. The garages that we have contracted for self-park were over capacity and our Valet and back up Valet option were all that were available on two nights. We will be crediting you back for the difference between Valet and Self Park pricing for those...

I have only given this 3 stars purely because it does not offer facilities other than rooms - even the rather good coffee shop in the Reception Area is a franchise. That said, we had a very good 3 night stay there. The hotel is very central, Bourbon Street is just up the street and across the road! It is...

Great place to stay, the location was excellent. Two blocks from where the hop on hop off tour bus picks up. Three blocks to Bourbon St., one block to Canal St. Staff was all very nice, you also get two free beers in the lobby.

This place looks a lot better on the photo's than it turns out to be. It is a little pricey for the cramped rooms my family and I were in. It is convenient to access the French Quarter but that being said I would shop around for something less costly.

Dear kjc482017 - Thank you for your recent stay and for the feedback. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
