Disappointed. Room quality was not what we expected for the price we paid. No dresser, no towel rack in bathroom, none of the little extras that you would expect for the price. I would not recommend this place at all. There are many other hotels in the same area with comparable prices with the amenities you would expect for the...

This was our second stay at the Pere Marquette. The staff and the service continue to be very high quality, as were our dining experiences at MiLa. We had a lovely room that was quiet and comfortable. There was a very notable change in that the hotel had completely discontinued their Concierge lounge service, which was a definite disappointment as...

Okay, here is my honest review. I thought that by the high prices this hotel was charging that it would be a bit nicer. It's certainly not a bad place but in my opinion wasn't deserving of the prices on their website. I used a third party online booking agent and got a very good price so did I maybe...

I don't mind paying for 5 star quality, when that is what you receive. However, the room/pool conditions, mediocre service, beds, and paying for wi-fi are unacceptable. I would suggest splurging for something else, or staying at the Quality Inn instead. I will say that the location is nice in that it is close to Bourban without being in the...

These are my 3 reasons to pick this hotel. It is about a block away from the bourbon street/ canal street so if you are drunk or not you can still make it back to the hotel. Its located in a safe area so you can come back at any time of the night. Actually I have one more reason...

It is conveniently located near the French quarters but on a quiet street. The rooms are small but clean. They have a small but hip bar and great lounge areas with a starbucks. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
