All of the staff at this hotel were fabulous.... from the moment we arrived, until the moment we left - super friendly and super helpful! The room was lovely with two, large, old windows to take in the sights. An older hotel, just off the quarter - it still felt like we were in the heart of the city. It...

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were cozy and chic. Even the libby was cool. Great areas to just hang out with family and friends and visit. Some nights they even have live music. It is in a very convenient location. If we ever go back it will be where we stay.

We first stayed at this hotel just before Katrina hit New Orleans. Our return to New Orleans was for our granddaughter's destination wedding. No one attending the wedding was from the area. The hotel staff did a wonderful job of having a room ready for all the guests upon arrival and providing valuable info for sightseeing and restaurants. The location...

Recently we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I have to admit, we usually opt for a French Quarter hotel when staying in the Crescent City. As we reserved at the very last minute, all of our usual haunts were sold out, so we opted for the Renaissance Pere Marquette. I think we found our new favorite place to...

I stayed here while in town for work. I've previously stayed at the AC and several other Marriott properties in the immediate same area. By far, this has been one of the best Marriott properties in the NOLA French Quarter area. Will definitely stay here, again.

This is an older hotel in the French Quarter with 5 star ranking. Nice lounging areas in 3 sided rooms near the bar for drinks and visits around the clock. Great location in the French Quarter. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
