The soiled bed cover, unforgiving firmness of the mattress, elevator noise (they gave me an elevator shaft as a next door neighbor) and the poor quality of the dinner (I cannot recommend the stuffed catfish) were not overpowered by other, positive attributes of the hotel. But the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful.

This hotel was gross and a staff member was really unhelpful when we brought up concerns. The bathroom especially was disgusting. I know it's New Orleans and you expect noise outside, but the hotel itself was also incredibly noisy. There are so many better (and cheaper) places to stay in NOLA, so staying here was definitely a mistake!

We stay at this hotel in N.O. every chance we can. The hotel staff at the front desk and the restaurant we so sweet. I was guest of the day and we had a free delicious appetizer!! The hotel had coffee and tea all the time in the lobby area. The rooms and the bed was very comfortable. Slept like...

Staff was truly a top-notch team. Most of my interaction with the staff was in the restaurant, where I enjoyed breakfast nearly every day. Taras, Justin, Darrin, Audrey, Joe, Leela, and Lynette (housekeeping, I believe), all brought so much genuine warmth and hospitality to our experience at this hotel- can't say enough great things about this team! Hang on to...

The Hotel is a great location, to tghe Convention Center, without paying the high prices. The hotel staff is super friendly and suggested ways for my husband and I to see the city, yet save money, using the Trolley cars instead of an overprised hop on hop off tour bus. Having a Fridge and Microwave, in the room was very...

The overall stay at the hotel was very pleasant and I would suggest this hotel be used by anyone attending a convention in the area. I would however suggest if having packages needed for presentations sent to or left at the hotel for you, that you place some type of identifier on the package so it can be found.

Great location! Friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable. Had a small issue with the restroom but not a deal breaker. Walking distance from bars/lounges/eateries/Bourbon Street/Jackson Square, etc. My lovebug's first trip to N.O. and he loved it!

Call An exterminator. I'm covered in bug bites and I can't sleep since I've been there. Once I left I noticed bites all over my body and same with my girlfriend. We are both miserable since. Nothing will make this itch go away.

This hotel and their staff are amazing. The rooms are always clean. We love it here!! The food is great that is the breakfast and the dinner. We will always stay here if we are in New Orleans. May it be for pleasure or business we will stay here.

Friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms. Great location near conference center. Valet Parking was a little pricey. We would use hotel again just not settle for room near elevator next time. That would be only complaint.

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
