Parking will be across the street but still close. I like this hotel because Cochon and Butcher is right around the corner as well as a few cool bars. You are still a short drive to games or Magazine St area, and 15 or so minute walk to casino/French quarter, and buts it's cheaper and just as nice.

Rooms: on par with any typical hotel at this price point Price: cheap given it's NYE weekend (although I did book via Priceline) Service: limited interaction with staff, but they were friendly and helpful when I did have to ask for something Other pros: +complimentary coffee pretty much all day and wifi +quite a number of decent restaurants within walking...

Stayed at this location the night before we boarded the dream for a cruise. Arrived to 70 degree weather. Walked down to Hilton, Harrahs, etc. very pleasant! Woke up to 40 degree weather and a little chilly. Great breakfast! Made to order omelets and regular Hilton fare. Convenient to Wal-Mart for a quick visit before getting on the ship. Would...

I stayed here on Christmas Eve, so I was kind of expecting a skeleton staff and perhaps not the best service, but I was completely wrong! I used the app to book and check into my room. I also was traveling with a service animal which I was able to mark on the app ahead of time so the staff...

Decided last minute to see a concert...and why not in NOLA? I so enjoyed the area I stayed in and was able to museum hop. Had tickets delivered to the hotel without any issue. My hosts were so accommodating and made a solo trip less nerve wracking! It set the tone when I arrived and was able to check in...

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn! The staff was very nice and helpful. The only issue I had was with the cleanliness of the bed sheets. My husband and I found something in the bed sheets that wasn't supposed to be there. Other than that the stay was great!

I visited the hotel during one of their busier times of the year so I expected longer check-in lines, and a wait for valet. However, upon arrival the room that we were given was not clean so we had to wait until they came to service it. Also, on the first night of my stay valet damaged my rental car....

We have stayed here a number of times on our visits to New Orleans. The last one was last week with another couple. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and sufficient room for our needs. Location is very good as it is a way from the busyness of the city center but restaurants are close...

Don't waste money on the breakfast, priced too high for what's available. Rooms are adequate but small. Vending machine on 3rd floor was not well stocked and would only take our credit cards for $2.25 drinks.

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
