Just wonderful!!! I traveled with my 6 yr old and 1 yr old. This hotel was just perfectly located from French quarter and the garden district giving us plenty of options to go downtown and uptown. The hotel staff was super friendly and accommodated all our requests. Great Breakfast options and the evening snacks is almost like dinner. We thoroughly...

this is a great hotel and I have stayed many times. The staff generally are excellent, especially the front desk staff and of course DANIEL in the morning buffet. He is exceptioal and when he is working the buffet is alway full and his hospitallity is unsurpassed. A new promotion at the hotel is 250 points for each day you...

The Drury Inn's rooms were nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Cleanliness of a room and comfort of the bed are top priorities of mine which I appreciate. However, I found it odd that when I arrived back at the hotel around 9pm at night, there is not a soul in the lobby. No one at the...

Good: At first I thought the hotel was an older hotel and it was in outside appearance. However, the inside was a modern twist on an1930s hotel. I liked the décor and the room décor in room 800 was pleasant. It had a microwave and a refrigerator which came in handy for preserving the good southern food from the night...

I've stayed in Drury Inns before and knew to expect great service and quality. This location definitely hits the Drury mark for excellence and service. Staff was great and helpful, location is good. Parking is a little on the pricey side but so is parking anywhere downtown. Rooms are clean and well appointed, beds are comfy and the a/c stayed...

Stayed in King 2 room suite. Plenty of room. Comfortable bed. Hearty breakfast. Popcorn and soda machine an added bonus. Supper time food fills the void, but expect to have a "real dinner" elsewhere. Great location -- can walk to everything. If taking streetcar, St. Charles is nearby, going past the beautiful homes you would expect to see in New...

Because it was for four women we opted for a " mini suite" . The living room and bath were the same size as mine at home. The bedroom was " hugh". We were totally comfortable and felt completely safe at all times. The breakfast and light plates at 5 o ' clock were just right.

Stayed 4 nights at the hotel on the New Orleans leg of our Louisiana and Texas road trip and glad we did, big rooms with very comfortable beds and when its hot good showers!! An average breakfast included but still enough to give you a good start to the day (waffles, sausage patties, cereal, scrambled eggs and bagels etc). Pleasant surprise is the...

Our suite was large and clean, breakfast was provided as well as kick back snacks in evening. Staff was cordial and friendly. Neighborhood was a little noisy however. Free soda and popcorn in lobby also. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping areas.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
