We were greeted by Bebe and Joe and welcomed with delicous cookies, given a tour of the property and the time for continental breakfast. The inn also has a private, safe parking lot in the back, so that you do not have to park on St. Charles Ave. There are several excellent restaurants close by. The bedroom and bath were...

Avenue Inn has a terrific location with easy street car access to the French Quarter. A lovely walk in either direction down St. Charles Ave. The place is full of character and interesting artifacts. The proprietors are friendly, thoughtful and helpful. They helped us find a great gumbo restaurant our first night in town. The place is safe, clean and...

The house is need of repair. It is to commercial for a Bed & Breakfast, it was more like staying in a Hotel. The breakfast was not good and there was not really anything to choose from. You pretty much have to drive or take the trolly to get anywhere. The ads for this place are very misleading. I will...

We are sorry that this reviewer did not enjoy city's most famous form of transportation. Riding the streetcar to get to all areas is a nice convenience for thousands of visitors and the locals who use it daily. We are located in the historic residential district , its only a ten minute or so ride from our front door to...

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Avenue Inn B&B, and we are glad we did. The hosts provided excellent suggestions on things to do, restaurants, and interesting points of interest. Our suite was spacious and located right on the porch. The inn is located directly in front of the streetcar line, so getting around was very easy. Thanks Joe...

We were greeted at the street as we drove up and it was greatly appreciated. The introduction was fun and informative as it was the first weekend of Mardi Gras. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the beds made for a relaxing night's sleep. Great location with easy access to all arreas of the city and extremely easy to...

Bobbi and I liked it so much, we decided to stay another night. The best bed & breakfast experience ever. I highly recommend this lovely place to all of my friends and all of you strangers out there. Joe and Bebe were nice and authentic personalities who clearly love this beautiful house and love delivering a good stay for all...

Located on St. Charles, catch the trolley to downtown and the French Quarter. This B&B has large comfortable bedrooms with their own baths. The dining room and the parlor are well appointed in period furniture as well. Joe and Bebe are wonderful innkeepers. They will make you feel right at home, even down to the "snack tower" in the dining...

I visited New Orleans for a long weekend at the end of January. My husband and son and I were there to check out Tulane University. This beautiful, quiet bed and breakfast is in a great location on St Charles Avenue about halfway between the university and the French Quarter. We parked the car off street in the back and...

Pros: nice bed, good wireless service, on the street car line Cons: Lousy breakfast (worse than a holiday inn express), house needs work and is very, very dark, no place to be except in your room, toothpaste left on the wall by the sink in the bathroom, the proprietor was rather unkept and made me feel uncomfortable, like I was...

We were disappointed to learn that this guest's expectations were not met and we apologize for any inconvenience. We are addressing the housekeeping concern cited to minimize a repetition of the deficiency in the future. It's with good intention that we ask on a consistent basic how each guest is enjoying their stay. We certainly would have addressed any concerns...
