This historic home has all the grand features of its original build. Tall ceilings, wood work, furnishings. We were treated very well by the owners and enjoyed the great hospitality, along with the great location to transportation (trolley).

Great location for my 1st time to Mardi Gras. It was the week before the big weekend but that was enough for me. Being on St Charles Ave was primo. We could walk or just a short ride to where we needed to be. The rooms were comfortable and the place had great charm. The host Joe & the in-keeper...

On a three day stop in NOLA just before Christmas, we were seachering the web a property on St. Charles so we could use the trolley. We saw the Avenue, and on a whim decided to give it a try. It was our first experience at a B&B, and is the reason we'll try others in the future. The property...

My husband and I arrived here on a Thursday evening with warm welcome from Joe as he handed us a warm chocolate chip cookie. We were shown our King size room that was beautiful. We were ready to eat dinner so we dined next door at a nice sports bar type restaurant and it was delicious. The next morning we...

We stayed here with our 12 year old because it was a steal compared to the downtown hotels. We were thrilled - it was so lovely, and we liked our hosts immediately!!!The airy double-double bedroom with the soaring ceilings was roomy, charming and felt private. We enjoyed peaceful, high-variety, tasty continental breakfasts at the Inn and took free snacks for...

The Avenue Inn B&B was an incredible experience which made my college homecoming event that much more special. Meeting Joe and receiving such authentic and genuine southern hospitality was a welcome change of pace coming from Chicago. My room was clean and excellently maintained equipped with all that southern charm. The food was excellent and the conversations were quite interesting...

When traveling, we prefer staying at bed and breakfast establishments, and have for quite some time. We enjoy staying in places that reflect the locale and provide opportunity for interaction. Avenue Inn presents the best of these considerations, elevated by the attentiveness and helpfulness of Joe and Bebe, the proprietors. They are generous with their insights to the city, are...

We are so flattered with these comments, there is nothing more we can say except we are pleased that the expectations of these seasoned B&B guests were apparently met. Very appreciative of the observations expressed and we hope to see them back again soon.

Joe and Bebe were terrific hosts. Very helpful with planning for our short visit to NOLA. House has been beautifully maintained and it is literally 50 steps from the front door to the St Charles Line Street Car stop. Never needed a car.

My daughter and I were in New Orleans for a college visit and this was a wonderful place to stay to give her a sense of the garden district. We were met at the door with a welcome surprise after a long drive. We stayed in the front outside room which was lovely. Would definitely stay again!
