Cool location, spacious, clean rooms and amazingly friendly staff. Ideal for business traveler and people on the go. Similar to most Courtyards but staff attentiveness to guests was great. Next door to Ritz Carlton which may boost the service level.

This is the best Courtyard I've ever stayed in. The service was above and beyond - a very friendly staff which is always willing to help. The breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable. The business center computers were easy to use and print. Clean rooms too!

We were in New Orleans for a few days to tour around for our first time. The hotel is within walking distance of Bourbon St., Canal St., restaurants and bars like I have never seen! The suite was large and very clean with a mini fridge. Though we were maybe one block from the French Quarter, we never had any...

Like many of the buildings in New Orleans, particularly in the French Quarter, the charm lies in keeping the city's architecture alive by not modernizing the buildings. That said, this Courtyard Marriott is in a great location, making it very easy to walk to the French Quarter, or for that matter if your legs are able, walk to other parts...

We really enjoyed our stay at Courtyard Marriott French Quarter. From the moment we arrived Donovan was very sweet and helpful!! We were very appreciative that we were upgraded to a double king suite at check in. Check in staff was very very friendly and helpful. The Starbucks was a lovely bonus. It's very close to Bourbon st and many...

We arrived at 1:00 am in the morning and found it strange to have to go up in a lift to reception. However the room itself was great - plenty of space, good storage, sitting area with a huge TV, then another big TV opposite the bed. My husband was able to find a channel that had English football on,...

Close and walking distance to everything, yet feels so calm away from all the crazy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Starbucks in the lobby for morning coffee. The rooms are super clean, modern, spacious and the beds comfy. The only minus is if you are looking for a New Orleans type experience and flavor, this a hotel like you...

The best things about the hotel is the location to the French Quarter and the price. Did not like the two elevators to get to the room. Desk staff was very helpful to the area attractions. Rooms were clean and modern.

If you are looking to be in the French Quarter at a major chain hotel, the Marriott Courtyard is a great option. It is right around the corner from the Ritz and several other high end hotels but for a lot less. The rooms have a sitting area with a pullout couch which is great if you are traveling with...

This courtyard marriot is located pretty much in the middle of the French Quarter, about a 2 minute walk from Bourbon St. That's either a plus or minus depending on your point of view of Bourbon St, but the location certainly is pretty central to many things in New Orleans. The facilities are exactly what you'd expect - nice rooms,...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
