We always wanted to visit the French Quarter in New Orleans - but not during the Mardi Gras. So we chose Sept 2, 2016 to Sept 5, 2016. We had NO idea it was Southern Decadence. Wild weekend!! We had a perfect room on the third floor with the balcony. The hotel was great with very friendly personnel. They went...

Stayed at the Four Points in the French Quarter from 9/2/16 to 9/5/16. We had a regular double room on the 5th floor. The room was very nice and clean. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and were ready to help in any way they could. The location is amazing. Out the door and you are in the action.

great location on Bourbon St., in the center of Bourbon St activity. You can be entertained without leaving your balcony. The hotel is in center of the famous French Quarter filled with hotels, bars, shops, and restrants

This is a very nice hotel. It has spacious rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant serves one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The only complaint I had was the noise from the street. I'm not talking about the clubs or the crowds. I expected that and had no problem with it. That was drowned out...

This was right on Bourbon Street, perfectly located so when you go out the front door and either way you walk there are awesome restaurants and a fun time to be had. Our room was on the back side so we did not hear any outside street noise. The room was extremely large too with a separate little sitting area....

We have been often to New Orleans but have never stayed right on Bourbon. After reading reviews of this hotel, we decided to book a room with a balcony overlooking Bourbon. I'm not sure what the people were used to when they said the rooms were quiet -- I slept with the ear plugs they provided and a pillow over...

picked the hotel based on its bourbon street location. Mistakenly requested a street facing room so that I could witness "the action". BIG mistake. The rooms have zero sound deadening so one gets NO sleep until 4am when the street eventually quitens down. This was not during mardi gras and was an ordinary Tuesday night. Service was dismissive of this....

In the heart of the French Quarter. Short walk to Cafe Du Monde and the French Market. Easy walking access to the many bars and restaurants on Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. Parking is a little steep, $30 per day, but parking is expensive in general in New Orleans. Beautiful Pool in the courtyard. All rooms have balcony's (and...

For many years New Orleans had been on our bucket list. So for our 20th anniversary we went! Honestly you do not need to go at Mardi Gras! It's a party on Bourbon Street every single night 🍻 You hope from bar to bar with your drink. Our hotel was right on the corner of bourbon and Toulouse.. Right in...

This hotel is just lovely. The rooms are a bit small but very elegant. The balcony we had over the pool was so nice. All the personnel were very friendly. The only downside was you had to valet and the charge is $30. Kind of high in my opinion. :( when you are staying at the hotel. The beds are...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
