Location is central. All staff, from front desk to bartenders to housekeeping, were welcoming, friendly, smiling, and willing to help with anything, a stand out I had to positively review for them. Rooms were perfect for a quick weekend trip to New Orleans.

We have stayed here many times and this was the first time we were not completely satisfied. We had a Bourbon Street balcony room that was great for people watching. The room needed some repairs, manly the shower head that moved in and out of the wall 4-6". The staff is very friendly but I did have a problem with...

We stayed here on the first night and the last night of a Jan cruise trip (Carnival Dream) that left out of NOLA. So just two single nights separated yea week. The location of this hotel is great...until it isn't. It is literally in the very heart of the French Quarter. Corner of Bourbon St and Toulouse St, Cher. The...

I recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to stay in new orleans. The hotel is right on burboun street, where all the action takes place. Now it does get noisy at night, but you barely hear it in the hotel. The staff is nice and helpful. Also the rooms are very clean and organized.

Hotel right on Bourbon in the middle of everything. We had a balcony room where we overlooked Bourbon...we were actually right across the street from a sports bar/strip club. Definitely not the location for a family trip. Room was very small, no refrigerator, very small bathroom. Room will not be ready early...the couple we were with did not get their...

I loved this place. Exactly what I wanted. We had a fantastic room with a balcony overlooking Bourbon Street. Yes, it was very noisy. Yes, it was perfect. (the bedside table had complimentary ear plugs!! ha ha) We spent New Years Eve on our balcony watching the fireworks and watching the nuts on Bourbon St. Every night there was something...

Great location on Bourbon St. our concierge, Leland Markell, gave us Auburn team themed Sugar Bowl posters. Bar was great. Free coffee in the morning in the lobby. Easy access to computers to check in for return flight. Desk help was friendly and accommodating.

It was a pretty quiet place on Dec. 26 so the street noise was low. Of course you get noise,it goes with the territory. This is a very nice hotel, valet parking, big rooms, room service and a lounge. Nice garden setting for the pool. We got there very early but were checked in anyway. The people working here are very helpful and...

The Four Points by Sheraton is a GREAT location - it's in heart of Bourbon Street; very close to any and all of the iconic spots of NOLA. The hotel staff were extremely friendly (always smiling and greeting you) and helpful (always willing to extend their recommendations on what to do). Contrary to what one would think, this is a...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
