This location is great. Just a short walk to Bourdon St, Riverwalk or Superdome. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Does have a small cafe near lobby that has a Starbucks, across the street is PJ's coffee. Trolley car stop across the street and cabs were always close by the front entrance. Our room was a double, beds were comfortable...

This property is in a great location. Room size was excellent and very clean. We had zero complaints and recommend based on location and facility. If their Starbucks is too limited for you, a full sized one is across the street. We walked everywhere we went in 4 days. Nice staff and secure property.

After reading the negative reviews of this property (not many), I have to wonder a few things: 1) guessing the folks complaining about room size have never been to a major city hotel before, space is a premium, and a hotel room is simply a landing place for sleep, and 2) why in the world would you book a "near...

The rooms are small by modern standards but well appointed. The desk staff are very helpful and parking is convenient. The breakfast was excellent. The pears and cheeses were a great addition. Excellent location and value.

I have stayed in just about every section of New Orleans possible. I love this city. The Courtyard New Orleans Downtown is on my top favorite list. The service is phenomenal. Phenomenal! Carlene greeted us and made sure we were taken care of until the end. She was superb. Friendly, good sense of humor, patient, helpful and just fun. Every...

Just returned from New Orleans. This was not our 1st time in NoLa, but it was the 1st time at this hotel. We were very pleased with the location. The hotel is close enough to the French Quarter to enjoy all that it has to offer, but away from the crowds. Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and accommodating....

In New Orleans a hotel is simply a landing pad. This hotel is not overly fancy, but it is a clean hotel with nice staff. It is very convenient for dining in the business and warehouse districts as well as many places in the Quarter. It is not located in an extremely loud area and I found no issues with...

This is a great hotel located near the French Quarter, Bourbon street, and the convention center. They offer good options for breakfast that aren't your typical continental breakfast. The rooms are great and modern. They have great staff that are friendly and will offer suggestions.

Hotel is just alright. Needs some updates beds are small, but comfy. Balcony was nice in room we were able to watch a wedding party go by in traditional New Orleans fashion. Hotel was kept clean staff were nice. Would consider going back. Location is great, able to walk to most attractions.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
