As a travel warrior of many years I have stayed in many hotels at all levels of service or self service. The management of this facility has trained their team well. I received the very best customer service from the staff at this facility than any other, any where! The front desk staff Tiara and Ronnie, the Bistro staff Shelia,...

This is a very nice hotel but what puts it over the top is the staff. From the minute we pulled up to the valet every single person we came in contact was outstanding. We arrived early and were going to check our luggage and go get lunch till our room was ready but to our surprise they had a...

We went to New Orleans after a family reunion in Lafayette, LA. The hotel was across Canal Street from the French Quarter where we planned to eat. The hotel was very nice. The staff was very helpful. Our room was very clean. A very nice place to stay if you want to be near everything in the French Quarter.

Nice hotel in walking distance to everything from Bourbon street to the Dome. Near great restaurants. Very nice and attentive staff! Close enough to the French Quarter and yet relatively quiet! We would suggest staying above the second floor due to noise and a bright light on the balcony that stays on all night. However, the balcony can be a...

Staff is very helpful and friendly. They helped with recommendations and cabs. Location is great for the French Quarter and trolly.Parking is a mess so we used the valet which is pricey. Rooms are a bit dated but well maintained. Will go back sometime.

Amazing hotel, brand new, great location, streetcar stops literally across the street, rooms are HUGE!! We were upgraded to a King suite. Bathroom is huge and modern. Gorgeous lobby with Starbucks and a cafe, tons of seating and places to work. Check out the TV-within-a-mirror in the Lobby Ladies' Room! Staff is a 10+. I lived in New Orleans for...

We usually stay at Marriott's and this one was centrally located within walking distance to many of the major attractions. You don't need a rental car if you visit New Orleans and sty at this hotel. There are several breakfast places that are really good a short distance away (Like most Courtyards, unless you like Starbucks breakfast your out of...

It's a wonderful warehouse hotel, and it's beautifully decorated. I like the pillows lol. The place was clean, and I got lucky and was upgraded too a huge suite which was very comfortable. Though just make sure if you're sensitive to sound, that you ask for a room facing away from St Peters as my room 512 and I imagine...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
