Mid-week stay in a balcony room, so, quiet for the F.Q. Easy walk to Bourbon & Royal St. Staff very helpful with questions and requests AND with polite replies. Room was very adequate in size and comfort. Balcony on Bienville St. had nice view while enjoying Keurig brewed in room coffee or mimosas from in room refrigerator. Most balconies are...

I lodged at the Holiday Inn French Quarters Lemoyne from December 10,2016-December 12, 2016. The purpose of my vacationwas to celebrate my birthday. Upon arriving the hotel was beautiful and the room was to my liking. There was nothingout of place and the check in process was extremely fast. I thought I was in for a great trip until December...

Just stayed here 3 nights with my 3 friends. When we arrived, we arrived early in the morning. Sometimes hotels will make you wait until check-in time which is about 3 or 4pm. However, we were lucky and they happened to have a room ready so they allowed us to check-in right away and they were so polite and welcoming....

My daughter and I had never been to New Orleans and decided to make it a first trip for 2017. We booked through our travel agent and were definitely not disappointed with her suggestion. From check-in until check-out, we were treated very well and made to feel at home. Our room on the 4th floor had 2 double beds, a...

We stayed at Chateau L for 3 nights. Rooms clean and furnished. We ended up with 2 double beds which was a bit odd but that's ok. Would agree with some posts that the bathrooms are tight (not a lot of space/ventilation) and can be a bit noisey. Our room fan was loud and not sure it was blowing out...

Great IHG property! 2 blocks North of Bourbon St. puts you in the heart of New Orleans, but a bit more quiet. Rooms are clean and comfortable. RF's bar is located right in the corner and has a $3 martini happy hour, great way to start your evening.

I enjoyed my stay at the Chateau Lemoyne during my vacation in New Orleans. Here are my pros & cons: PRO: - location location location. Still within the French Quarter but only 2 short blocks away from Canal Street where the pubic transportation is located (buses & cable cars). Also only 2 blocks away from Bourbon Street for some fun...

Spent New Year's Eve at this hotel. We did not go down there to party, so this review is not based off of a drunken experience. We were lucky to get one of the executive suites. Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
