Location is ok. Hotel is dated and dirty. Drapes were stapled together. Breakfast is the saddest thing ever - coffee, cereal, milk, muffins, croissants. Towels were scratchy. Mattress squeaked every time my friend moved or breathed heavily.

Great location and friendly staff Bathroom tub did not hold water and there was not enough hot water for the three of us. Breakfast was spotty and there was often not enough out for all guests.staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location great. Room comfortable overall. I would stay here again

Great location right along St Charles Ave, walking distance tot he rest of the Garden district and the French Quarter. Charming place, old world feeling, wonderful rockers on the front porch! Housekeeping was lazy - didn't even put the bin liners in the bin, just left them hanging over. Also made the bed with the blankets on the inside and...

The hotel is an old house converted into a hotel, which I find pleasant; it has character. Good location with a good restaurant-café next to it ! The streetcar is right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is very basic though; limited choice.

I normally love to stay at smaller hotels when I travel, and I understand that an older historic house will not be the same as a state of the art hotel. However my experience at the Historic StreetCar Inn was horrible. Upon walking into the room I was greeted by broken blinds, curtains only half hanging on the rod, dirty...

The old building was maintained well. The room was very clean. Just not a good location and no parking for blocks! When we asked the guy at the desk where their guests park, he just said, "Duh, I don't know!" .....so ok, can you tell us where some parking is and all we got was....."Duh, I don't know!"

Dear unhappycamper420, We do apologize that you feel the hotel is not conveniently located. I must say this is surprising to hear. The streetcar, which passes in front the hotel, is the most popular means of transportation for tourists as well as locals. There is a lot to explore in the Garden District. If people want to go downtown, they...

Will diffently stay here on our next visit to New Orleans. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Help us with a few tours we wanted to book. The streetcar is very convenient because it stops right in front of the Inn. Only 3 dollars for an all day pass. Only a few blocks from Canal Street. Very popular street with...

For the price, it's not worth staying. I'd pay a little extra for higher quality next time. The staff was very nice and accommodating. But, that's about it for pros. Cons- there was one small lamp in our room, the shower dripped all night, no blankets on the bed, a distinct slope as one entered the bathroom, no mirrors other...

Great little place to stay, free parking on the side streets, Get a metro pass on your phone with the smart phone app and travel with ease around the city. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good, the staff is friendly what else can you ask for.

Rates were very high but most likely because of Jazzfest weekend. Lots of potential for this little historic hotel but needs some attention to detail. Maybe it was short staffed but we had trouble getting towels and toilet paper. Would have been nice to have had some hangers in the closet and some cups by the sink. Blankets were very...

Dear judyya824, Thank you kindly for sharing your review. We have only just recently purchased the property and we are making plans for renovations. In regards to the issues with receiving items such as towels and toilet paper, should not have been an issue. This is just poor service and I assure you it will be addressed. Thank you again...
