If you are looking for an authentic type feel, while staying in New Orleans, this is the place. It is extremely charming, in a rustic sort of way. The employees are very warm and friendly and very helpful. As most have said, the location of the Inn is absolutely stellar. It is only about a 5 minute walk to the...

The place was clean and very New Orleans, plus the price was right. I have been vacationing here for over 20 years. It's location meant it was very quite on that side of town. Some of the other guest weren't so quite. My girlfriends birthday was on Fat Tue, we both had a blast. would highly recommend.

Very nicely renovated property of an historic New Orleans guest house. It was a fun place to stay in a tucked away area of the French Quarter--quiet but with quick access to everything. The staff was very nice and eager to please. Historic in this case means lots of rickety stairs and no elevators. Also, there are minimal amenities. My...

Very comfortable king room on the 2nd floor. Loved the location and the hot tub Not sure if we will be back to nola, but will definitely stay at the inn on ursulines if we do! Best if you don't plan on driving much, as the parking lot is a fee blocks away.

Love this place. Clean, quiet, and perfect location. We stay here or at their sister locations whenever we are there. Great diversity of staff and guests. Cute courtyard with hot tub. Ground floor rooms are good if you don't want to do stairs.

Room 13 should be for solo travelers only. It's really small! They moved us to room 33, and it was much more comfortable. It's a nice, clean place, away from all the noise, but only 1/2 block to bourbon st. The staff is great!

The hotel was close enough to the action yet far enough if you needed a break. It was quaint and clean. The room itself remind you of a bedroom with a bathroom attached. I rented the Queen room that entailed the bed, two side dressers and a small space for the Keurig. There was a nice space for the iron...

Hello dbalford8, Thank you for staying with the Inn on Ursulines during All Star Weekend during the first week of Mardi Gras celebrations! We're glad you found the room to be clean, quaint, and well-appointed. I'm sorry you found our lack of valet parking to be unacceptable, but I do understand that is of top priority to some visitors to...

Great location! Price was great as we shared a room with friends and booked/payed in advance. Space was a little tight with 4 adults and 2 queen beds but you don't goto NOLA to hang out in a room. :) Definitely was quiet at night, however the Inn is close to all of the action! We enjoyed the hot tub...

I took my lady out of town with me, for a business trip and picked a room because it was affordable. What I saw was what I got. But not what I expected. Nice room and very relaxing. Not close to a lot of the action on the French Quater, so you will have to walk. But it was great....

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
