We were checked in quickly and courteously. Someone was there to help with our luggage, which was good, as we were located on the second floor and the staircases are very narrow and steep. Parking was close by and all the sights were within walking distance. Our room was small but sufficient. The air conditioner ran constantly and a little...

My husband and I just returned from a 4 day stay at the Inn on ursulines. We had a great time, the staff are super friendly ( I will miss the lovely miss Sylvia (housekeeping) and gave great recommendations for local eateries as well as directions to local attractions. Our room was a second floor king facing the courtyard. The...

Called a guest house, the room was clean and well stocked. Always someone at the front desk and very helpful. Best thing is probably the location which is close to Bourbon St and all the action but far enough away so you don't have the street noise and/or craziness. Felt save and secure. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Was a bit dismayed at being "on the street" at first. But it wasn't that bad. Really comical after a while. And I could see my daughter and her family on the balcony of their rented apartment on the corner of Bourbon and Ursiline. The old Quarter atmosphere outdid any commercial chain hotel. So close to...

Was over all happy with the room. The location was great and realatively quiet , depending who was coming in late at night, heard some tromping up the stairs! Could do with a few hooks in the room to hang stuff up. Liked the coffee maker. The staff were helpful and friendly.

This was the perfect place for my first trip to NOLA-right in the heart of the French quarter. Super cozy & clean. Front desk was kind & helpful. Macaila gave me a lot of suggestions and was nice enough to call me a cab. Thank you!

If you are looking for an authentic type feel, while staying in New Orleans, this is the place. It is extremely charming, in a rustic sort of way. The employees are very warm and friendly and very helpful. As most have said, the location of the Inn is absolutely stellar. It is only about a 5 minute walk to the...

The place was clean and very New Orleans, plus the price was right. I have been vacationing here for over 20 years. It's location meant it was very quite on that side of town. Some of the other guest weren't so quite. My girlfriends birthday was on Fat Tue, we both had a blast. would highly recommend.

Very nicely renovated property of an historic New Orleans guest house. It was a fun place to stay in a tucked away area of the French Quarter--quiet but with quick access to everything. The staff was very nice and eager to please. Historic in this case means lots of rickety stairs and no elevators. Also, there are minimal amenities. My...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

“Room 13 should be for solo travelers only. It's really small! They moved us to room 33, and it was much more comfortable. All necessities are included in the room. Shampoo, soap, hair dryer.. there's also a keurig, and water bottles. It's a nice place, away from all the noise, but only 1/2 block to bourbon st. The staff is great! ”
