Stayed two nights in a large corner room on the 11th floor. Not much of a view but room was nice. Breakfast in the morning had nice selection and well stocked. The hotel has the St. Charles trolley stop out front or you can walk two blocks to Canal St. Overall a great stay and would stay here again. One...

It was a great stay. The hotel would not give me any military rate or,discount. We were there for a military funeral. Overall stay excellent. I would recommend this stay. It is in the heart of downtown New Orleans and close to the Meredes Benz dome.

Fabulous hotel. Question safety outside hotel late at night but it's New Orleans so pretty much par for the course. Never go out alone at night. We got a double queen suite. It was a nice large room. No street view in double suites. Can see outside but look at other hotel windows.

Thank you for your recent stay with us and for taking the time to give us a review. Great to see that you enjoyed your stay and your room. The location of this hotel on the other side of Canal Street very close to the French Quarter of New Orleans makes this a very convenient hotel, but shielded from the noise of Bourbon Street. The tram line next to the hotel also adds to the tourist appeal. The staff are friendly and the elevators are secure requiring the use...

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for her birthday weekend and we had a great time. The hotel staff were very professional and helpful. The location is awesome. Its only 2 walking blocks from Canal Street and Bourbon St. The St. Charles streetcar stops outside the hotel on the corner as well. I would highly recommend this hotel...

Located on the St Charles St trolley line. 1.5 blocks from Canal St and the Canal St trolley. Bourbon St is just across Canal St. Walking distance to many restaurants. I think it was completely renovated in 2015. A great value at a great location with wonderful staff!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
