We really liked ourpoolside suite which had two spacious, well appointed rooms. The courtyard Nd pool area are beautiful. Breakfast is truly continental, however what they serve is extremely good. Bravo!

This was our third stay at the PDA and most likely our last unless they invest in some new mattresses and bedding. Should have been replaced a long time ago. I tossed and turned and woke up in pain each morning. Yes, the character is wonderful and the location truly can't be beat. But neither of those things is worth...

This is my 6th visit to this hotel over the years and would not stay anywhere else! A lush setting tucked away just a short walk from Bourbon Street's nightlife, the history of Jackson Square, or the shopping on Royal Street or the Riverfront tours and shopping-this hotel is a great location. At one time it boasted "the largest courtyard...

Stayed here during a short trip to N.O. based on the recommendation of a friend. Extremely happy that I did! Great location between Bourbon Street and Jackson Square - close enough to walk, far enough not to be disturbed by any noise at night. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

When I think of New Orleans, I think of old-brick, open courtyards with beautiful trees and birds singing. This is a charming, old-world hotel smack in the middle of it all. Best of all, it is quiet, unless the folks in the next room make a ruckus. For the first time ever, I chose and stayed in an interior room...

We usually stay at one of the larger hotels in the French Qtr and decided to give this property a try. We're glad we did. Location is really good, easy access to everything and a good value. Korey who works on the bell staff is very helpful and amazingly upbeat especially when things get busy. She is a gem. Two...

Hotel is mere steps away from Jackson Square, St Louis cathedral, cafe du monde, French market, bourbon street, and easy walking to everywhere else in the FQ. The bellhop Corey was lovely, she congratulated us on the list of things we wanted to see (all gleaned from TA of course) and was extremely helpful with storing our bags safely next...

Very large suite, good for traveling with teenagers. It was close to everything, easy walk to either side of the French Quarter. Courtyard was beautiful but got crowded and noisy as weekend approached. Shared balcony but no one else was ever on it. Need better lighting in bathroom and bedroom was only compliant.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

“Junior suite was great for a longer stay - on the fifth floor overlooking the courtyard, so nice and quiet.”

“I was in 202, which faces St Ann Street. The windows are low, so not the best room if you're looking for a "view".”
