Great location! Great service! But the walls are paper thin!!! We’re in 2825 and we could have a conversation with our neighbors if we wanted to!! I can literally hear their entire conversation! Stay away from elevators and be mindful of the location of your room. Even on the 28th floor you can hear the traffic from canal st!

Extremely disappointed with our recent stay here. Am a platinum member for Marriott and am used to a certain level of quality at a JW. Upon arrival to our room, we noticed stains on the sheets, drink marks left on desk, counter and leftover takeout food in fridge from previous guest. Had to call down twice to get someone to clean our fridge. Air conditioner did not work properly thru the night and hotel staff was less than accommodating. At 4:45am, someone from housekeeping pounded on our door asking if we needed new sheets. She had confused us with another room-no apology or acknowledgement. Service at checkout was lacking. Waited 35 minutes for valet. Several other great Marriott properties to stay in quarter. Go elsewhere.

My wife and I recently stayed at this nicely appointed JW. We were there on business, but this hotel caters to all comers. Bring money, but remember, you get what you pay for. Front desk-first class well trained staff. Lounge-outstanding service, like-able staff. Hotel centrally located to FQ venues, the Garden District, convention center, Riverwalk and more.

Horrible service. Got the wrong room, called in earlier for slippers and dental kits before arrival, was promised to have them in the room. Neither was in the room, of course. And called "at your service" 3 times... Got hung up twice after describing the problems... Had to talk to 4 different people...

I had a glowing review for this property up, but then they did an "upgrade," and I was notified that they were taking it down. And then I went to New Orleans. I was so excited that there was an upgrade. I used to love this property - the staff was amazing and the property was great and close to everything. But then I went. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. They took away some of the great eclectic art and put in mundane crap. The bathroom in the lobby doesn't work. One of the elevators is possessed/not working. The showers do not always give hot water. The in-room AC/heaters do not work. The windows leak. The printer in the lobby does not work. Now all these are forgivable given the location of the hotel. But add to the fact that the staff is rude *and overcharging for things like parking (when it was included in our price), or water (when it was included in our price)... needless to say, we are not coming back to this property.
