Our group of six stayed in three rooms at this hotel over the Memorial Day weekend. We all loved it. Very helpful employees, nice accommodations, and great location. One room had a big balcony that we used several times and we also sat in the courtyard. Never needed our vehicle, but it only took a few minutes for them to...

Location was perfect. Right on Bourbon Street but just a skip away from all the mayhem. Within walking distance to everything in the French Quarter and trolley systems. The establishment was very clean and quaint. Lovely artwork/decor throughout the mansion as well as the rooms. Private courtyard/garden as well as balcony access. Provided breakfast, champagne in the evenings and WIFI....

I stayed here with 3 of my friends. We stayed in Room 40 (the attic room). It was awesome! Great views, large room and comfortable beds. There was even an air mattress in one of the trunks. I think a tall person wouldn't like the room but we're all short so it worked for us. The staff was friendly and...

I just returned from a few days in New Orleans with a large group, but the first night was just me and my boyfriend and we wanted a nice, romantic place in the FQ before the rest of our "crew" crash landed and the mayhem began. Lafitte's was perfect! A quaint B&B, in a great location - conveniently located directly...

The Lafitte Guest House in New Orleans was a pleasant stay for my girlfriend and myself. We wanted to stay to a place close to the nightlife of Bourbon street, but not right in the middle of it. The room was nice, and the decor for the room was fitting with the rest of the house's style. Within walking distance...

I love this Guesthouse! It is my absolute favorite place to stay. We have stayed there twice for our girls getaway and it was great both times. It is so unique and different from your average hotel. We have stayed in the attic room and one of the smaller double rooms overlooking the courtyard. The attic room is by far...

I'm from New Orleans but wanted to stay in the Quarter on a weekend trip, so we picked this place b/c of the location. It's a decent enough, though older, hotel/BB. The main issue we had was car alarms on the street going off most of the night, but that's not the hotel's fault. The location is ideal - you're...

We had a marvelous visit in the French Quarter, our stay went well. Despite the rainy weather, we were able to walk or catch a buggy ride where we wanted to go. We couldn't have asked for a better location or more helpful staff.

Stayed here for Jazziest with a large group. The staff was very accommodating, even when we were a little loud and rambunctious. I did even realize until we got there that this hotel is across the street from my favorite bar in new orleans, also called leafiness! Had a great time, we will be back!

Lafitte's Guest House is at a great location on the far end of Bourbon Street away from the major tourist commotion. The facing Bourbon have balconies with fantastic views of the Quarter. This hotel allows you to wander back in time and reminisce of the French Quarters colorful past.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
