Booked following a recommendation from work colleague. Location was good as most attractions were easily walkable. Front desk staff were excellent, helping us to book trips and transport to the airport. Pool was very welcoming though got busy in the afternoon when people came back to the hotel. Would stay again.

Had a great stay. Room had two doubles. Plenty of room for two adults and two children. Clean. Kids used the pool and loved it. In close proximity (within walking distance) to restaurants and shops in French Quarter. Our balcony was directly over the street and it was NOISY. Loud people, trash trucks at 2:30am etc. That is expected though...

Cleanliness very poor, valet guy during days AWESOME!! Beds not comfortable at all! No fridge in one of our rooms when there was suppose to be! Needs easier way to get to areas and shouldn't have to go around the pool that is wet all the time when someone is using a walker. Not very friendly for an elderly person!!

The hotel is located right in the French Quarter, near Bourbon street. It was great from a central location point of view but we are travellers that don't partake in the night scene so the close location to Bourbon St is what makes it somewhere we wouldn't likely go again. Hotel guests are focused on drinking by the pool by...

I have been coming to the Duffy in Orleans since I was a child. This hotel is charming and in the heart of the French quarter. The staff has been there for years, and are so very welcoming and accommodating. The bellmen and valets are rspecially knowledgeable, and so very kind. This is my go to place whenever I visit...

No warm water in our room all week. Told desk multiple times and never got resolution. The front desk group were not very helpful. The valets were never even in the building when needed. We almost missed our airport shuttle because we couldn't find someone to get our bags for us (valet was down the street)

Loved the location of the hotel, easy walking to Bourbon Street. A huge roach was in the bathroom waiting to greet us on arrival! Decent breakfast, nice staff, especially one particular valet guy, and the ladies in the breakfast room....

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
