We just recently had our wedding here. We also remained guests of the hotel for 8 days, and then another 3 nights thereafter when our airbnb turned out to be a disaster. I can't even begin to express how wonderful every person, even the maintenance staff, was to us. Everything we needed was provided, and I plan on staying here...

Great location, but not worth the price- not even close. Paint chipping off the walls, poor lighting, and a musky scent came with our room. Splurging on a larger room with our own balcony proved a total waste of money.

We had a great stay at Dauphine! Staff was friendly and quick. Rooms were clean and the Tempurpedic beds wonderful! Full breakfast and parking at the hotel was a plus. Free drinks at Mays and one block to the action. Will be back!

This was our first time in NOLA and overall we enjoyed our stay at the Dauphine, however there were a couple negatives. The positives: - Friendly and helpful staff - Great location, a short walk to many sites and attractions - Comfortable room and bed - Good price - Free drinks voucher for bar on check-in The negatives: - There...

I went to New Orleans for a concert and came to find out the French Quarter Festival was that same weekend. The hotel staff were very friendly from the moment we checked in until check out. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was better than expected, I didn't get to enjoy my complimentary free drinks from the bar since...

The room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels and washcloths was provided. Walking from the hotel to the quarter was nice. I loved that they had a bar on sight and that it was quite. The bartender on the weekend was wonderful, but the weekday bartender only seemed interested in the male clients.

Older, well maintained and very comfortable hotel in the French Quarter. Very convenient location on one of the more quiet streets in the area. Reasonably priced with breakfast included. Extremely friendly front desk staff and very accommodating personnel throughout. Very private, quiet pool area and relaxing cocktail lounge.

First time staying at this hotel. We have stayed at several hotels in the quarter and wanted to try a new one. Also wanted a balcony this time. We pre-paid for 2 nights and knew that parking would cost an additional 36 a day so we were prepared at check out to be charged 72 but we were charged 185.94...

I went down to New Orleans for a girls weekend over Halloween. Its a busy time so hotels rooms were expensive. We found a decent priced room at the Dauphine Orleans. I would say its a standard 3 star. Hotel was clean. The room was ok. Nothing fancy. The continental breakfast was bad. Would not recommend. The only good thing...

Walking distance to all the hot spots in the Quarter. A short inexpensive cab ride from Frenchman St. where all the GOOD local musicians play & don't miss a meal at Adolfo's.( but, that's another review). The Dauphine has a very helpful & friendly staff all the way down the line. The mattress on the Calif. King size bed was...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
