My daughter and I checked out of rooms 221 and 223 from the Dauphine Orleans today and, as you are the Hotel Manager, I wanted to share my feedback. I would give my visit to your hotel a 6 out of 10. A few thoughts. I checked in 5/27 and checked out today 5/31. I benefited from a wedding party...

The room was really cute and spacious but so loud. It was on the corner of Conti and Dauphine and people drive by with their bass so loud, the room shakes. We didn't sleep for two nights, even with earplugs in. Some of the staff was rude and unprofessional.

I had stayed at the Dauphine Orleans earlier this year and when planning a New Orleans visit again, wanted to come back to the Dauphine. Our rooms had balconies this time which gave us another opportunity to we enjoy the sights and sounds of NOLA from our room if we wished. The bar was excellent. Service was prompt and accommodating....

So to begin with, just arriving back from our wedding and Honeymoon. Cannot say enough about the hotel and how the Dauphine Orleans has the best dedicated staff! They are truly personable and ready to assist you ! Brittany the front desk supervisor was beyond amazing and cannot express enough gratitude for her help to a nervous wreck bride! Fully...

Just got back from our stay @ the Dauphine Orleans Hotel celebrating 2 birthdays (one being mine) and it was perfect! The hotel is centrally located to walk to Bourbon Street, French Market, Cafe Du Monde, carriage rides, shops, etc. And we did a lot of walking and with all the drinking it was very easy to navigate back to....

Perfect location and felt like a 5 star hotel for a great price. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel staff was so helpful. When we originally checked in our room was not available so the lobby desk provided us with extra drink tickets to have a delicious drink in their very cool hotel bar. Perfect for a getaway...

This hotel was everything they say. Walking distance to everything. We parked the car on Wednesday and drove it out on Friday. Parking is not included in the hotel price but it is the same price for 24 hours as most pay to park for only 6 hours. The beds were wonderful. We never heard the partying on Bourbon St....

Wonderful location within easy walking distance to many locations/activities. Hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant- very welcoming. Our rooms were very nice and comfortable during our stay. I worried about noise being so close to Bourbon Street- we didn't hear anything and foun things to be very quiet! Lord the balconies.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
