We had a lovely time at Dauphine Orleans and would love to stay again in the future! The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, location is off the beaten path yet easily accessible to all FQ amenities such as Royal St, Bourbon St, our favorite restaurants and hang out spots like Jackson Square. Frenchman St is a bit of...

I stayed here for five days while on a business trip. I was able to stay in a room with a balcony which was such an amazing amenity. The weather was delightful while I was there and eating meals on the balcony while people watching was great. The room was comfortable, clean, and well cared for. It was centrally located...

We enjoyed our stay. Staff is all friendly and eager to take care of any issues. Room size was wonderful and very clean. The breakfast dinning room was full and only one person to replenish the buffet.

We love this hotel. It is quiet and away from the insanity on Bourbon. The breakfast is good and filling. There is a make your own waffle station, sausage, scrambled eggs, croissants, bagels and boxed cereal. There is also yogurt and fruit. The employees are friendly and helpful, The beds are great.

This is a lovely property and the staff is excellent. We will definitely stay here again when we are traveling to the New Orleans area. Right in the heart of the French Quarter, but still very private and secluded.

Loved the clean rooms, super comfortable beds and very friendly staff at this hotel. The front desk staffers were all helpful and very friendly. The grounds were clean and the loungers at the pool were very comfortable. The money value including breakfast was excellent. One suggestion I would make is to have appetizers avaliable for purchase in the May Bailey...

The room was adequate, although there is construction going on next door. We were on the 3rd floor and had a "view" of workers. Our friends on the 2nd floor looked out on a brick wall. The uncovered parking is expensive, although convenient. The lobby is surprisely small. The breakfast consists of a buffet that is adequate. There are eateries...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
