Clean and secure hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet grounds with beautiful views. Buffet dinner and breakfast were good and filling. This is a hotel with local flavor--very relaxing. Hot springs were exceptional. Genuine experience will be a great memory.

Though I only visited the hot springs, the time there was amazing! After walking a little less than 5 minutes through the woods you arrive to a beautiful outdoor, in the middle of the forest and next to the river, place where the hot springs are located. The hotsprings have different temperatures so you can pick the one you are...

We only visited the hot springs, but the grounds and the hotel looked like a lovely spot. The entrance fee for termales is $12 per person, and if you are not their hotel guest, you'll need to take your own towel. There is a parking lot at the entrance to the springs, then a short paved walk through the jungle...

A bit of a walk down to the hot springs but you can drive a good portion of the way if you don't feel like walking. Very natural setting. The restaurant was nothing fancy although we were with a group tour and our food was buffet. The rooms were clean but our hot water had issues. They fixed it but...

This place is not fancy but if you are looking for natural hot springs, this is your place!!! The nature is all over. They did a good job to keep the spings as natural as possible. We stayed one night. The room are fair, clean bed and bathroom. It has air conditioned and flat tv. Very quiet at night. The...

We did not stay at the resort, only visited the hot springs on a quad adventure. The hot springs were amazing and the farm it sits on is just lovely. You would never guess what beautiful springs sit along the ravine of the river. Loved our visit. The temperature was great and varies depending on what you wanted. We were...

We recently visited Termales del Bosque for our second time. It is a very quiet, unassuming resort with accommodating staff and off of the beaten track. During our visits most of the clientele have been mainly Ticos with very few foreigners. We absolutely love the uniqueness of the hot springs tucked away in the forest along a river. Friendly staff...

We spend one day, but definitely we will get back soon. The rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious, waitress really take care about what you want. Termales del Bosque is an authentic family-run lodge that offers spectacular and beautiful natural hot springs in a rainforest environment. It is much nicer and much quiet than the hot springs in La Fortuna, and the hotel is also much cheaper. Tamales del Bosque still is a farm in many ways, with horses and cattle. It is very peaceful and...
