My husband and I revisted the Speckled Hen Inn many years later for our 15 year anniversary. Under new ownersship, the updates are wonderful and the hosts are charming and inviting. This BB is located on a small hobby farm with a few sheep, chickens and a lama with beautiful acreage and gardens. Breakfast in the morning is a treat...

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Speckled Hen Inn B&B recently. We were so impressed with this Inn and it's owners. Our room was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated and had a great view of the pasture that had a llama and sheep. The owners, Tom and Heather were so nice to us and made us...

I have stayed at the Speckled Hen Inn twice this year and have loved my experience both times. The Speckled Hen is very close to downtown Madison- around a ten minute drive, depending on the end destination- but feels like it is completely enveloped in the quiet countryside. The grounds are completely quiet and tranquil, and the owners have set...

We spent the night in the Starkweather Creek Room. Unlike chain hotels, no noises, no bumps in the night. We relaxed on the balcony enjoying breakfast and views. Tom and Heather are wonderful hosts along with the chef serving a "perfect" breakfast. This would be a great place for a romantic getaway!

Our daughter was married in the gazebo at the Speckled Hen Bed and Breakfast. Tom and Heather made the event very special with the extra touches. We were able to have our whole family stay and the comfort and intimacy of the Speckled Hen was wonderful!!

Heather and Tom were just fantastic. I had my (very small!) wedding here, and not only were they accommodating, but they just went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and all of those special little touches were there. The food was fantastic and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding...

Tom and Heather are wonderful hosts. A beautiful property for our get-away to Madison. Heather makes a fantastic breakfast using ingredients straight off their farm! The eggs are harvested from their hens that we got to see on our walk around the property. The first breakfast started with a muffin using zucchini grown on the property. If you are looking...

This has been a third year in a row we have stayed at the Inn while attending the quilt show. The view is beautiful and the owners are very friendly. It was very quite and peaceful and enjoyed the animals and walking trail. Awesome breakfast and comfortable room.

I went here for several days at the end of July. It is a wonderful place! We stayed in a beautiful two room suite with a jacuzzi bath tub. The breakfasts were out of this world! The inn keepers were friendly but not over bearing. It was fun to walk the grounds as there are sheep and goats and a...

We stayed at The Speckled Hen in early September. The views are gorgeous and there are lots of places to walk around. This was a quick stay for us and didn't get to enjoy all the amenities but there are a lot of things to do on the property. A great sitting room, a puzzle area, movie room, seating outside,...
