The Econo Lodge is a fine property with wonderful staff. Our room was clean and comfortable and our breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our brief stay in Cortez and recommend this hotel to everyone who visits.

Stayed here on the way to Arches National Park after leaving the Grand Canyon. Service was Fantastic when we checked in late at night, the hotel looks dated from the outside but inside is pretty decent. It needs new carpet and the door was a bit stiff, the pillows were slightly small and generally an older hotel. However the amazing... More

Located on the main road through town, so some traffic noise. All other motels are located on the same road. Very clean and comfortable, but the carpet needed a good cleaning. Convenient to some great restaurants in Cortez. Being an older facility, walls between rooms not well insulated for sound. Easy to hear next door but all was quiet at... More

Had 2 queens with continental breakfast for under $85 (including tax). Looks are deceiving! Outside is dated but inside is totally remodeled. Check the website ....... cheaper than if you just walk in.

Nice place but on the dated side, pillows are extremely small. Feels like they took a king pillow and cut it in half. pool was heated so it was relaxing after a long drive, Walmart is very near by 1/2 mile or less, lots of eating places to choose from. The only Starbucks that I could find nearby is located... More

Stayed for 2 nights, close to Mesa Verde with a number of restaurants within walking distance. Walmart and gas directly across the street. Check in was easy with friendly staff. Ground floor rooms were clean and comfortable, with ice and guest laundry easily accessible. Only downside was the outdoor pool which did not look the cleanest. Good quality breakfast on... More

The good. Nice clean hotel, spacious rooms, fridge and micro, fluffy towels, friendly check in. Reasonable price, close to shops, restaurants and Mesa Verde. Pool which I did not use. On the outside, the hotel looks somewhat outdated. But don't be fooled: the rooms are renovated and look amazing. The breakfast was good for motel standards. Location is perfect: near large stores and very close to Mesa Verde national park. Excellent value for money!
