I really enjoyed my stay at the Sleeping Ute Mountain Motel and it was a great value as well. It is pet friendly, has very ample parking (even for trailers ), it is clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful pointing out all the services and restaurants in town. Gene even helped me load my motorbike on to my...

Room had been smoked in. Was told was non smoking. Not clean. Bad smell. Lamp didn't come work. Only stayed one night because we had to. Cancelled the rest if the nights. Would recommend that no one stays there and trip adviser should remove it

This is worst hotel in my life. So many complaints about theft, if your moving please make sure you don't left any valuable items in room. Doors can be easily broken by that's what the quality I seen. Bathrooms are really terrible by seeing it no one interested to take shower.

The sleeping ute motel is a quiet, affordable, clean motel. It isn't the Hilton but the beds are nice, the rates are good, and it is family owned and operated so the service is excellent. Dana, Gene, and Ty are great and I will definitely stay again.

You pay for what you get. We arrived late and were leaving early so this motel suited our needs. It had free wifi and included a simple continental breakfast which was not really healthy and the fruit was passed it's prime. It was an OK cheap place for just passing though - although not the cleanest.

This motel needs the help of Anthony Melchiorri (Hotel Impossible)! For four years we have traveled with the help of Trip Advisor, and mostly we have been pleased. Our destination was Cortez because of visiting relatives in this area, so I looked on Trip Advisor, and this was the top listed motel, with good prices, too. I called the motel...

My family stayed here 07/11/2015 through 7/17/2015. Our stay was comfortable and felt "homey". This is an excellent value for the money. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the T.V. was great, the towels were nice and fluffy! The staff was friendly and helpful, always cheerful. Couldn't ask for anything more!!!

We felt fortunate to find such an affordable place for two extended stays(02/2008 & 11/2014) in the area.. The rooms were clean, of adequate size, and very quite. Sound created by second floor guests went undetected. I enjoyed the clean linens and having the room vacuumed daily( a habit of mine at home). At the end of some long stressful...
