My wife and I recently spent two wonderful nights at the Misty Mountain Villas. The property is situated about 2 kilometers from the town centre up a rather steep road, but offers stunning mountain views and fantastic service. Special thanks to the hotel manager, Mr. Inshan Wazeer, for going "above and beyond" to ensure that we had an excellent stay....

Had a wonderful stay at misty mountain villas (not to be confused with Mountain Lodge that's just below it). The family owned lodge (which was once the family's summer home...they are currently expanding a few more rooms into the property) has a really relaxed atmosphere. We were just in Nuwara Eliya in order to get the train the next day...

Well, its not one of the hotels which you will be easily able to locate using Google maps. Its not in the city area but its on one of the hills. The road to this villa is quite narrow and very steep. Only good divers will be able to take the car up till this place. But once you are...

Nuwara Eliya was the highlight of our trip. Weather was lovely and our stay in Misty Mountain was GREAT! Very friendly and helpful staffs. We stayed in the deluxe room which was on the higher floor with panoramic view. We had a big and clean bath tub in the washroom overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was simple, toast, tea and eggs....

This is a 2 or 4 bedroom Villa turned into a guesthouse. Probably the best time and the most fun place i stayed at in Lanka. A bit of a trek getting to this place but totally worth it. The view from the room is absolutely beautiful looking over the hills. I was there in September 2014 and it was...

The room was great and as backpackers it was a pleasant surprise to find an affordable option at such a nice hotel. The tv in the room was especially welcomed! For the wonderful views unfortunately you have to hike up a very steep road to reach the hotel. I would like to suggest that they offer some sort of shuttle...

This guest house is located in the hills of Nuwara Eliya and whilst it is a steep climb, the views make it worth it! We stayed here for two nights and it was great. The rooms are spacious with huge windows looking over the hills. On our first night we ate in the guesthouse and the food was good value...

Location though is good but the room size, room cleanliness etc is very bad. Our room was full of cement dust as some work was going in the floor above. On complaining they just cleaned the tables, carpet etc were still unclean and so was the bed. rooms are absolutely small and so is the lobby area.

Charming hotel located on the top of the mountain with gorgeous view of nuwara eliya. Dedicated and attentive staff, who really had a heart for the place. Relaxed atmosphere, yet nothing left to coinsidents. The place is really well taken care of, the outside seating area was chill with a well maintained garden. Clean and comfortable rooms. Really good home...
