Admittedly, some of the areas in the hotel are looking a bit tired, but this does not detract from its charm in any way. It's a great little spot and the oldy worldy nature of the place is fantastic. Add to this the good value for money and the wonderful, friendly welcome and support from the staff and I don't...

I was there with two of my friends who wanted an escape from the city and this was just the place for that. When we reached there, it was raining and we couldn't walk out, and we were worried that it would make our situation worse. But the place is soo good and staff was friendly to help us with...

Older building had lots of character, but new building, where we were placed, was still a work in progress; room itself was fine (WiFi was temporary, plunked outside our door); breakfast was disappointing, hard-boiled eggs arriving in a runny state; hotel arranged van tour to Bluefield Tea Estate and Ramboda Falls, but driver skipped the Falls apparently due to drought...

Sent one of my colleagues last Friday and the feed back is very meh. Breakfast disappointing: Booked the place on BB but they only gave a couple of sandwiches and fruits. Rooms: The washrooms were bad, no shower. And we were the only guests.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is the worst hotel I have stayed at in all of South Asia, South America and Southeast Asia combined, including really cruddy backpacker hostels. I'm a low key traveler, and very forgiving of hotel issues normally, but this hotel isn't even trying. And that's why they deserve 1 star, and a strong warning to fellow...

Worth a visit in the interesting city of Nuwara Eliya. The Garden is very Well keept with flowers and a green Garden in the front. There is a relaxed atmoshere and the manager and staff were very informative and organized. We had two Big Roms. We had a nice dinner and a more simple breakfast.

The Trevene is located walking distance from the park and the town centre and can connect you with guides for Horton Plains and Sri Pada/Adam's Peak, so it is a wonderful place to base yourself. The dhal was a little salty at dinner, but the dining room more than made up for it - they have kept the old British...

The room was a little small, however, it was clean and tidy. the staff were lovely and served a wonderful in house dinner. Centrally located, easy walking distance to the bus station. Highly recommended.
