Very pleasant stay in the forest and hills north of Ubud. The hotel offers great views above a river canyon and is just 500m from the village of Keliki. Rooms are comfortable and the large swimming pool is very nice.

Loved this hotel. Great room, nice swimming pool, delicious food. Typical Indonesian outdoor shower room. The staff were fabulous. Take the village tour visiting the gardens and the rice paddies - just loved it a highlight of our trip in Bali. Driver available to take you in and out of Ubud also to the airport if needed. There was a...

We stayed from 30th October to 4th November 2016. What a lovely place. Beautiful peaceful setting. Unfortunately the traffic from the main road down below can be a little bit disturbing, however not at night time which is great. The nights were quiet and enjoyable and I therefore had a good nights sleep every day. During the day we were...

Spend the days exploring Ubud's many shops, restaurants, and cultural sites and then "come home" to this peaceful place amid tropical gardens. Relax by the pool, enjoy a world class meal, walk or ride a bike through the rice terraces, take a Balinese cooking class with Dewa. Spend a long weekend, a week, a month. You won't regret it.

I stayed here for 5 very enjoyable nights. The rooms are huge, bathrooms gigantic with large bathtubs. Loved the huge king size beds too. The hotel is a bit older, however, for the price and great service it simply can't be beat. It's a bit far from Ubud, but the hotel offers a free shuttle (limited times) to/from Ubud. Great...

Our stay at Alam Sari was absolutely incredible. It was the best service I have ever experienced at a hotel. I would highly recommend the traditional Balinese cooking class with Dewa (not sure on spelling). We went to his house where he and his wife, his children, his parents AND his grandparents lived. He explained about what a housing complex...

We spent 8 nights at Alam Sari. Loved how it was away from the hustle and bustle of Bali's busy tourist areas. It sits 20 mins outside of Ubud. Free shuttle services operate every 2 hour to Ubud's market. Most of the villas overlook the lovely swimming pool. The staff there couldn't do enough for us. The breakfasts which are...

We spend 3 nights of 4 at Alam Sari, just outside Ubud during our honeymoon, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our hosts, Wayan and Tijer went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They organized scooters, booked cycle tours, river rafting, spa treatments, taxi transfers, recommended local warungs to eat at, as well...

What's not to like about Alam Sari ? Although we had a room cock-up on arrival after a long day traveling from Qatar, the hotel accepted it was their error, and sorted it out. The place is a delight with staff competing for biggest smile of the day and always looking to be helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and...
