If you are searching for the ideal eco lodge, this is it. I'm amazed at the great diversity of happenings with Sarinbuana. The owners Linda and Norm's strong commitment to the local community and land is evident. A local craftsman offers classes in woodcarving, stone carving, calligraphy and making bamboo flutes. I watched many families with children loving their experience...

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarinbuana eco lodge! Their sustainability practices are incredible and inspiring! They have their own organic, permaculture garden where the cooking staff pick fresh ingredients from daily to use for meals. Their food is therefore heavenly, we miss it so much! Their bungalows are unique with breathtaking views - staying in them feels more like...

A small and peaceful lodge in the middle of the jungle. We did not feel like tourist, cause we were treated more like friends visiting the lodge. Nature around the place was just so beautiful and peaceful. There were just my family and me swimming in the waterfalls, and the forest around us was greener than ever. I just loved...

Pure heaven in all senses of the word. It's in a dense food forest, atop a volcanic mountain far away from the busy and dirty city, has the most fantastic sunrises and chocolate ice cream, and is in peace with nature: no pesticides, no insecticides, organic garden which supplies your meals. SUSTAINABLE MODEL - This is a perfectly beautiful model...

This was just a quick overnight getaway for my kids and I; such a shame we didn't have more time to enjoy the resort. Everything has grown since our last visit and standards have improved. The highlight of this visit was probably the excellent home made organic ice-cream which my children and I thoroughly enjoyed. We were spoilt for choice...

We loved our stay up at Sarinbuana. Growing up in the Whitsundays in North Queensland we have always been drawn to flora and fauna and this place doesn't disappoint. From the moment you arrive there are beautiful butterflies fluttering about you and an array of flowering plants you will be seeing for the first time. The wonderful red pagoda was...

The place is beautiful. There is just no other word for it. The location is higher in the mountain, far from the busy Bali beaches but within walking/cycling distance of spectacular rice fields and picturesque Hindu temples. Rooms are not luxurious but spacious and extremely welcoming. The little porch with a sofa was delightful, and we loved the shower with...

Thank you for your very appreciative review. So sorry about the leeches, they only occur in the wet season and we usually use a natural solution to stop this, so I will talk to your guide and see why this wasn't used during your trek. All the best for 2017 and thanks again.

This is one of the most gorgeous places I have ever stayed at. The ethical ethos of the place is both aspirational and inspirational. It would be great to see more accomodation providers learning from their examples in sustainability and community development/support. We took the opportunity to do the temple walk trek, 5 hour rainforest trek, learn how to make...

Thank you for your feedback, Im glad you enjoyed your stay here and appreciated our ethos & garden to table meals. There is a lot of unseen work that goes into: composting, making our own seaweed fertiliser, gathering & growing seeds and of course tending the gardens daily to bring fresh organic produce to the table for AUD$7 - $12...

If sleeping in a tree house perched over the rainforest and swimming in a secluded natural pool at the base of a waterfall is your idea of heaven, grab the chance to visit Sarinbuana.
