I have been many places in Bali, but this one is something else. Tranquil surrounding, peaceful ambiance, beautiful architecture, nice location, stunning view and tasty food!
Elevate Bali, a gem on the cloud where nestled in the center of the northern highlands of the magical island of Gods, about 1.200 meters above sea level. Overlooking the lush of mountain, jungle, sea, and city of stars at night. (If you are lucky enough, you’ll have it all in one day.)
I stayed at Mountain Infinity Pool Villa, feature an infinity pool with breathtaking panoramic mountains view, and our villa has a mezzanine floor that can accommodate up to four guests (no additional charge for guest under 17 y.o.).
I was greatly impressed, not only bed room and living room area, but also a walk-in wardrobe, out door shower and freestanding bath tub, very spacious and cozy. It was extremely clean and well maintained, all furnished in modern.
Elevate Bali by Hanging Gardens Munduk offers its guests a relaxing and luxurious stay in the charming setting of the mountains as well as the warm, professional welcome than only an elegant hotel can offer. The surrounding area is fabulous for hiking and cycling.
The breakfast was a la carte. (no extra charge for iced latte and freshly squeezed mix juice).
Moreover, I had Burger Satu Juta! Yes 1 million rupiah! The food was second to none. It tasted amazing and worth every penny. Grilled wagyu beef, champagne, lobster on cheese, French fries, condiment and pickles.
Moving on, we had Mocktail sunset and canapé, simply delicious! As you can see, the tone color of Mocktail was inspired by the ombré sky! Fabulousness!!!
After Mocktail sunset, I tried one of their signature dishes, especially in Munduk area. Bebek Mendem, slow cook marinated duck in sweet "TUAK" and aromatic nusantara spices. No doubt for the taste!
The staffs have done everything to make us feel at home. The owner is so incredibly friendly as are all of the staff, from the chefs, the waiters / waitresses, receptionist, the cleaning team and leader team. 🥹🥲 Thank you so much! I can not wait to come back!

The arrival to this hotel is really quite spectacular and we arrived at sunset when the views were at their best. We were delighted with the accomodation, beautiful room and great bathroom with an outdoor shower and bath tub. We really couldn't fault the accomodation and the amazing views. Being able to watch the clouds literally roll past the windows was spectacular. We also used the spa which I'd highly recommend although we benefited for a 50 percent discount. I do think there's some room for improvement on the food, seemed a bit inconsistent in terms of taste when I had the same dish again, as though a few ingredients were missing that day. Was slightly confused by the buffet breakfast on our final day, only as the feel of the buffet was very different to the incredible 5 star menu options given during the week and fairly limited offering and no eggs. Check out wasn't great, we were only offered a late checkout option at check out despite informing reception the previous evening that we had an evening flight. Also end bill was a slightly unexpected given the tax and service charges that is added, i would recommend include taxes in the price so people can understand what they are actually paying for, it feels like a surprise otherwise. Another recommendation I would have is to have more thorough continuity or record of what is ordered from room service and what is taken from the mini bar. We had ordered a number of bottles of rum from room service and worked out we ended up being double charged as the staff recorded those empty bottles present in the room as taken from the mini bar rather than previously having been ordered on room service. I think a lack of understanding meant I couldn't be bothered to keep explaining something which was so obvious and due to a flawed accounting system of the mini bar so I had to pay it. Only feel compelled to mention this as generally the checkout and extra charge settling is the very last experience you have of a hotel so sometimes any confusion can just be slightly frustrating. The taxi to the airport which was organised was great, really professional service and great driver. Overall this is a exceedingly great place to stay and I have only highlighted a few snags as I'm sure these minor details can be ironed out simply to provide better than ten out of ten service

Incredible location for hotel with infinity pool or villa hot tums with views out of this world. Very helpful staff- particularly in the restaurant. Senior waiter really made a huge effort to adapt the menu to our individual requirements and produce a pre ordered breakfast on time so we didn’t have to wait for it to be made on days with early activities/ trips planned. Great mixture of local and western food. Lots of activities/ lake views/ Hikes near by. Only thing to point out is that it is quite a chilly location for what you would expect for Bali. The cloud comes in early afternoon often so you are sort of in the mist- a cloud! This means that many people woukd find it a bit cold to swim in the stunning pool,,Fladh facilities in rooms though! We were pretty much the only people there most of the time so had personal assistance constantly! Suryia very welcoming in reception and some staff even hair dried my trainers that got soaked trekking as we were flying g the next day.

Well. This was supposed to be highlight of our stay in Bali, but it was quite the opposite. Yes, the hotel is nice (so are most of the hotels in Bali), yes the staff is being polite and friendly (so are everywhere in Bali), but if there is really cold weather (which is not their fault of course), and the restaurant is open and not provided with sheelds against the wind, so you pay for extremely overprice meal and you eat it COLD, because it gets cold within a minute and before they serve it, that is not ok. Its not ok to open bathtub plug with screwdriver in 5star hotel. Its not ok, to have running 3 people in your room in the evening to fix that and fix the heater when you want to enjoy nice evening. Its not ok to be cold in the night because the heater is smaller than the hole under the balcony door, so the wind and rains gets in the room. Oh my, I ve been in Bali in several hotels, homestays, villas, airbnbs and this is the farest worst experience. Because if you have unhappy customer, which decides to leave after first night even they paid a lot for the whole stay, for whatever reason, you try to make it up to them. Yes, you cannot do anything about the weather, but to eat cold food for 1mio rp is a joke! And to open bathtub with screwdriver. And upon this you didnt even think to offer anything complimentary. Wow. We do not recommend this hotel, trust us, you get better view in different hotels with same view with much better service in Munduk and all over Bali.

This hotel lying in a beautiful spot was very expensive, but the facilities were of poor design and quality. The shower created a pool on the bathroom floor flowing into the toilet. The front door and frame leaked a lot of cold air, which flowed across the right hand side of the bed. i had to tape all joints and the door at night to reduce the wind in the room. We had our dinner at the hotel as it lies very remote for options to dine elsewhere. It was extremely disappointing and quite tasteless, especially for a 5-star place which according to their own brochure is a 6-start establishment. We gave some of the dishes back and pointed out what was wrong. Management acknowledged our complains and refunded us our money for the meal. At breakfast both the Cappuccino and the Cafe Latte tasted exactly the same, which is unacceptable. We would not recommend this hotel

An average hotel with an extra ordinary view. The view and surrounding nature are lovely. The villa was large and spacious. Very inviting interior. The feeling of luxury is definitely present. Nevertheless, there are some measures that should be taken in order for the hotel to be in the upper class. There was a large spider and beetle in the room when we checked in. To our great surprise, this was the start of the wildlife inside the villa. It is most likely an anthill in or next to the villa as they never stopped pouring into the room. They were in the bathroom, in bed, in the living room and beyond, so everywhere!. There is a huge gap between the door and the floor, so the ants comes in and out as they like.
It was also cold in the pool which was disappointing, the staff said it was because the rain cooled the heated water, but it hadn't rained all day and it was still cold. The spa was also not open yet, which was a shame as we were not informed of this when booking. The price of the food is also high compared to the rest of Bali, for example a sprite costs about 50,000 IDR in the restaurant, but 7,500 IDR in the shop. Also keep in mind that housekeeping comes in at least twice a day, which is a pluss for some, but a bit too much for us as we like privacy. Overall a nice experience with nice staff and a fantastic view, but some changes should be made in relation to the price they charge.

However, as we are located in the mountain, spider and beetle may get in when cleaning was on progress or when doors were opened. • Same things with ants – in may enter into some of the area (including open shower area). But we can ensure you that same thing won’t happen in the future as we will increase treatment of the pest control. • About the water temperature in the pool, I would like to inform you that beside rain water volume, temperature of the air (with average of 15 degrees) also impacting the water temperature. In the future – if your travel plans bring you back to Bali, if you would like to have the pool heated, I suggest that you call our front office team so that they can inform our engineering team to follow up. It may takes couple hours to get them heated up to the level of 29 degrees. • Price of the food. To be fair, we can’t compared price of the food or drinks in a 5* resort with price in the shop. It’s a whole package – we provide an outstanding venue, stunning view, excellent services that you can’t obtain in the shop. I believe you are agree with this. Elevate is a very beautiful resort with spectacular views and we get this feel moment we enter the reception area with water bodies full of fish. We stayed at Grand View Pool room with Jacuzzi. Views from this villa is breath taking. Jacuzzi always had hot water which was necessary in cold weather at this height. Villa itself was huge on 2 levels with very impressive interiors. Outdoor shower was unique for a hill resort. Villas are new and spotlessly clean with housekeeping team doing great work in ensuring that there are no bugs or insects in the room even though in midst of all vegetations. Resort grounds are very well maintained and looks very beautiful. At times clouds would come low would make us feel like in heaven. We had dietary preference, which was shared in advance and chef, restaurant team ensured it was very well taken care of (A big thank you). We availed the water fall track and it was a great experience to track to the beautiful waterfalls. Would recommend this 3-hour track with Adi as your guide. SPA service was also very nice (views from therapy rooms are even more spectacular). We were booked for 3 nights, but we liked it so much that we extended our stay. Everything is exceptional and this resort is highly recommended. We will be back again.

The room product is just incredible, nested above the clouds in Munduk, the villas are just beautifully executed with fine woods, well curated amenities, total privacy and very attentive staff (special shout out to our yoga instructor Wawan!).
The view facing the mountains and the location just above the lakes are Incredible.
While the hotel is just amazing, the food and beverage offering is quite limited and any add-ons at the property is excessively priced for the region ($23 for a shot of Baileys, $80 for a massage)
While it is only normal to spend extra bucks in such a property to enjoy higher service and gorgeous amenities, our feels was that would have the prices been slightly lower we would have consumed and enjoy the activities a lot more (e.g spa services, activities).
This property is incredible but strongly encourage the management to review its F&B strategy and pricing to encourage guests in experiencing and consume more.

One of the most luxurious hotels in Munduk area with outstanding views of the mountains and the coastline.
Room - room was excellent with luxurious finishes. Pillows were super soft and feel like you're sleeping on clouds. Only issue was the pool was said to be heated and even on a warm and sunny day, pool was cold.
Staff - staff were super friendly and helpful. As it was our honeymoon, they had arranged for a bouquet of flowers and a cake for us which was very thoughtful. Our driver and tour guide were both very helpful in providing plenty of suggestions for activities to do in the area.
We were a little disappointed that we did not receive the nightly turn down cookies as per our inclusions or the lack of a daily fresh fruit. (We did receive some fruit on the day we checked in but nothing after) and that the baggages were delayed on the day we checked out.
We appreciate that the hotel is not fully open yet and hopefully these little things can be addressed later.
We had an amazing time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who would like a breathtaking view of the Munduk area.

Dear Ravindu D, Thank you for choosing Elevate Bali as your honeymoon destination. We are delighted to be part of the celebration and pleased to know that you like our villa,pillow and the friendliness of our team member.On the inclusion,however,I do apologize for the mishap given that our team member is under impression that you do not like the cookies as well as the fruits. To address the issue you have raised,we just introduced a new policy in place that the cookies and fruits must be served on a daily basis to avoid the same incident from repeating itself.
