It's debatable, subjective, yet.... two years down the road, the impression remains and the conviction has built up. Amankila represents absolute perfection and the ultimate standard for any other hotel/resort experience, othe Amans included. Couple of examples: when housekeeping brings fresh fruit to your room, they monitor which ones you prefer and gradually adjust to your preference. They also put...

We stayed in a room on a bluff overlooking the sea with our own private pool. Not only is it a gorgeous resort, but the people who work there are lovely. We renewed our wedding vows after 25 years of marriage, and it was a second honeymoon we will never forget. I would recommend this hotel to the most discerning...

This is a truly stunning hotel. We stayed in the Kilasari suite at the top of the hill and couldn't have had a more relaxing, enjoyable, pampered stay. The view from up there is gorgeous and the sense of privacy second to none. Sandra runs her hotel brilliantly and the service is top quality. The little touches are superb, we...

Since we were met at the airport evwrything was perfect and in order. We got wonderful rooms up the hill, the view is amazing, the staff beyond my expectations taking in count not not all of them speak English, all the hotel staff made a great effort to please the guests. Breakfast was very good, dinner excellent, maybe a little...

I was really looking forward to our first stay in Amankila. To describe our experience in one word: Spectacular! My wife and I travel the world and of all the places we have been to, this is our favorite luxury resort. What makes this place so good? Exceptional setting/facilities + exceptional service. To be a truly world class resort, both...

Stayed at the Amankila for 2 nights last month for a couples trip. Service: airport transport is included in the rate which is nice. So were the pillows in the car since it’s a bit of a trek from the airport to the resort (about 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, we were greeted by an army staff including Sandra the General...

This is more a 4.5/5. For a 5-star hotel this place is perfectly fine, and nice. But this is an Aman, a chain that prides itself for its exceptional service, location and experience; creating a home away from home. We have heard many people say this is their favorite Aman, but for us we simply didnt understand why other than...

This place is a total gem--we went for our honeymoon. The service is absolutely out of this world and the staff is super friendly, helpful, and seems honestly extremely proud and happy to be working there. One of my favorite things about the resort was that it seemed earnestly focused on bringing up the local community and economy. For example,...

Went there a few years ago...and was the best experience ever, though it took more than 2 hours drive to reach the resort, but totally worth it. Airport transfer was very good, they provided cold towel, cold drinks, as well as pillows. The resort view is very nice, facing to the Lombok strait. Great place for honeymooners. You can have...

We spent two nights in this amazing hotel. We have never experienced such a fantastic level of service, knowing what we wanted before we did. Thank you to all the staff for all the kindness and effort. We stayed in a ocean view room number 27. The room was really nice however we were a little bit disappointed with the...
