We were taken to our private villa where we could hear the roar of the ocean crashing on the rocks below. The gated villa had a private pool and a beautiful patio filled with every amenity you needed from sunscreen, bug spray to jars of treats like freshly baked cookies! The service is impeccable. We had a personal chef cook...

This immaculate, spectacularly-beautiful & luxurious resort perches high above the Straits of Lombok and features numerous pools -- including a three-tiered infinity pool overlooking the water -- and a beach club that must be seen to be believed. The rooms are thoughtfully-designed and feature gorgeous teak throughout. The service harkens back to colonial days, and you may pause to wonder...

We just stayed here for four nights in an ocean suite (19, which is one of the more private ones). We had the beach, main pool, and beach pool to ourselves nearly the entire time we were there. Food was delicious and chef and GM really nice, as was the staff in general. Had a massage and pedicure; former was...

Came there in August. Aman can no longer arrange visa as before due to tightened security however Aman immigration concierge was still very helpful. However you do have to pay extra to receive greeting upon arrival, which isn't much but I do believe it should be included in the room rate for all guests to enjoy the extraordinary service. The...

It's a beautiful resort, the rooms are nice and homey. It's a peaceful place to be in. They set-up their dinners well, it included dressing us up in traditional Indonesian outfits. The beach can still be improved on. The pools are better if you want to swim. The staff are accomodating, friendly, and unobtrusive.

Once again, the Aman experience was flawless. Meet & greet at the airport, personalised welcome at the hotel, extra attention of the staff, outstanding property with great attention to details (they light up candles around your private pool during turn-down service). All the boxes were ticked. The hotel is one of the first Aman properties but the equipment throughout is...

My last stop in Bali was Amankila, and I believe the best was saved for last. This resort is absolutely extraordinary. Between the three tiered infinity pool with sweeping ocean views, a huge pool set in a mature coconut grove, and a pristine volcanic sand beach, Amankila left absolutely nothing to be desired. Beyond the unbelievable setting, my room was...

This may undoubtedly be my favorite hotel experience ever. Nothing has topped it. We vacationed at 2 other Aman properties during our trip: Amanusa and Amandari. All were special properties in their own right but we still dream of Amankila. It has become the standard by which we hold all others properties and a buzzword used in our household to...

bali is a wonderful peaceful place if you avoid the crowd of seminyak and kuta... but amankila is really one of the best places on the island. A secluted paradise which I would recommend everyone who prefers staying away from the hustle and bustle and just relax surrounded by glorious vegetation and a dreamy beach. the service is one of...
