Everything about this hotel was perfect. Wonderful room and surroundings, but the best thing about this place was the intangible; the hospitality and care of all the staff, the attention to detail, the community spirit, not only for the guests but towards eachother and the local community which gave it the welcome and spirituality which one encounters all over Bali...

We have just finished a beautiful stay at Alila Manggis on Bali's beautiful East Coast. We have stayed at many luxury hotels and resorts around the world, and so have many points of comparison. We found Alila Manggis staff to be the best group we have experienced. The service standards did not drop over the time we spent there -...

I love the vibe around the hotel. The fish pond, the sound of waves, plumeria, and coconut trees. Hotel staffs are well-mannered. My favorite part is having breakfast in the morning. Be reminded though, this is a good hotel if you are single or a couple. I actually traveled with children, and it's not recommendable. There are no play areas...

We have just come to the end of a 2 week stay at Alila Mangiss and have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday at this fabulous hotel. I had already checked out trip advisor reviews before I booked and so my expectations were pretty high to start with. However this hotel managed to surpass all of my expectations. We stayed in...

On last September 2014 my husband and I joined Bali Marathon and we decided to take some rest after that. We rent a car and explored some beautiful beaches at Eastern Bali, we stayed at couple of places and then we had final stop at Alila Manggis, Buitan Beach, Karang Asem, yet the love story was begin… We spend time...

We're currently near the end of our 7 night stay at Alila and I will be extremely sad to be leaving this place. Firstly, the hotel complex is an absolutely amazing place to relax. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by fantastic staff that say good morning to you by your first name. The calming energy and tranquility...

We recently stayed here for 9 nights after staying at their sister hotel in Ubud, and what a fabulous experience it was. The Hotel Staff were so helpful, happy, and polite and cannot do enough for you. They were always at hand should you require anything over the phone or throughout the grounds. The Hotel rooms, grounds, restaurants were stunning...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Alila Manggis for 5 nights following a wonderful, but exhausting 17 day tour of Australia. We chose the Alila Manggis because we were looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet where we could totally relax before heading home to the UK. This wonderful little hotel surpassed our expectations. We loved the Balinese character...

We stayed here for three nights with our Backroads Cycling group. The room was very well laid out and the day bed on the balcony was so comfortable. We spent many hours just reading or sleeping on it. We did a few excursions with the hotel. The Klungkung Market which is a must see and a cooking class. Both were...

Me and my mum stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The architecture of the hotel and layout of the rooms are have thought behind them and work well. The staff was very friendly and service minded. The food was great and didn't feel too expensive being at a nice hotel. The pricing of the food was one important...
