We were staying at a nearby resort. Went there for diner. We had the seafood special for two: just great! Friendly service, great atmosphere with the sound of the waves. Very tasty The Bali white wine "Hatten" is very good! A little hard to find but worth a visit.

Away from the hubub of Kuta, Abalone Resort is located on the beach in Buitan, a quiet, friendly seaside village. No hawkers, just a beautiful pool looking out to sea with the island of Nusa Pernida in the distance. The owner and staff are very attentive without being in your face, and the food is superb and very reasonably priced...

Paid the equivalent of £40 very last minute for somewhere to stay! The rooms are big and spacious and the views and gorgeous. Wifi is perfect no problems at all and the bar has a large menu. Only a short distance to the centre of Padangbai for the ferry to Lombok & Gilli and the hotel can also organise the...

First time in Bali and I really think that I had a bite of Bali here! Very nice and spacious bungalows/rooms with the wood-like “Bali feel”! Good but small swimmingpool with nice comfortable sunbeds. The german owner welcomed us and told about the place. The staff member are very nice and the food is good here. We booked though booking.com...

Stopped for a beer and snack on a walkabout. Service was pretty average and the price of beer more than we were paying at our resort. With a bit of dedication and staff training this could be a great stop for the weary hungry traveller

We were staying down the road at the royal bali beach resort, but walked the very short distance down the beach on more than a few occasions for dinner. Great food. Great location . Great service. Probably the best food we had in bali. If you like it "Balinese spicy" then it will be made to traditional recipes. Beautiful place...

We stayed for only one night in the Abalone Resort and were disappointed after having read predominantly postitive ratings on TripAdvisor before. Here is why: - The location is in the middle of nowhere - this is by no means the fault of hotel management, however: Other hotels on Bali have successfully taken advantage of their remote location to create...

A paradise hidden in the jungle you could call it. Beautiful, big nice waves to swim in, very nice staff especially. The hotel can arrange a snorkling trip for you wich is really beautiful and the food and their drinks are so delicious especially the greak salad, their chips and their daiquiri

We stayed at Abalone Resort in the rainy season and were given a wonderful cottage with ocean view. Our bedroom upstairs was so cozy, we never wanted to leave. In our 2 weeks of Bali, during which we stayed in more than 8 hotels, this was the one with the most beautiful room. The location is secluded and quiet, with...
