Lonely planet recommenced Beach Inn. We asked for A/C which was only available at Billabong, being next door. We were demanded to pay in advance, we regreted next day. Indeed, a/c was not working (that is, the air coming out was room temp). Plus: - no functionnal power outlet - no wifi in the room - we were used to...

We liked our stay in the nice cottages. you sleep on the first floor, the bed was ok. The mosquito net wasnt a real mosquito net, it was made of thick cotton or something like that so that the air circulation of the fan couldnt pass it. So it was incredible hot. This place was a killer deal at under $15/night, and I loved the rice house design. However, it was really hot in the room at night, mostly because the thick cotton muslin mosquito net that prevented any air circulation from the fan (no AC).
