The Bandha is in a very good spot on Legian beach with the many bars offering drinks on the sand a big plus. We enjoyed our time at the hotel….the Lagoon Access room was large with good amenities and a really comfortable bed a big plus. Cleaning of the room was efficient and generally completed during breakfast. Service in Mozzarella efficient especially from Eni. Whilst others reviewers reported breakfast as outstanding we felt it lacked variety…..maybe a Bircher muesli or a bowl of fresh fruit salad would have been a welcome addition. Fruit juice was more like cordial and could be improved. The lagoon pool was quite cold on some of our days, however the pool nearer the beach was warmer…..it was quite a trek from one pool to the other so we stuck with the lagoon especially as we had Lagoon Access rooms. The access to the pool from these rooms was not easy for older guests and the addition of a rail for the steps would have been welcome. To sum up….the hotel is in a great location for beach lovers and surfers, the rooms are large and well equipped , and the staff are efficient and helpful however the lagoon pool can be cold and difficult to enter from Lagoon Access rooms and the breakfast could be improved.

Our experience at The Bandha Hotel & Suites was simply outstanding! We were a group of 70 people, and from the moment we arrived, the entire team showed incredible kindness, professionalism, and dedication.
A special thank you to Ani, Sardela, Pageh, Ayu, Silvy, Nirma, Sangayu, Ery, Apri, and Dian, who were always available and attentive, making us feel not just like guests but truly special.
The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and meticulously cleaned, providing a true haven of comfort and relaxation. The breakfast is rich, varied, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients—perfect for starting the day right. We also had the pleasure of dining at Mozzarella Restaurant, where both lunch and dinner were absolutely delicious, offering a great selection of dishes to satisfy every taste.

We stayed here for 5 nights in a deluxe room which overlooked one of the pools from the 3rd floor. The room was very spacious with a nice king sized bed, large separate bathroom and sitting area on a lounge. The rooms were very quiet and we had great sleeps.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and would always smile and say hello. Check in and check out was very efficient and quick.
The 2 pools (both with swim up bars) were very well maintained and great to dive into after shopping and day trips. The location of the hotel is excellent as it’s right across the road from the beach and then very close to bars, restaurants, shopping etc. Kuta and Seminyak are only a short taxi ride away.
The food in the restaurant was excellent too with a good range and variety of food for the buffet breakfast and plenty of options of both Indonesian and western foods on the menu for lunch and dinner. Entertainment was provided free of charge in the restaurant every night we were there including a drag show which was awesome.
There is a decent air-conditioned gym to do a workout in and the facilities overall were great.
We would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Legian and hope to be back next time we are in Bali.

My family and I (2 adults, 2 children aged 1 + 3 years) stayed in a Lagoon Access room at The Bandha. We loved our room. It is clean, spacious enough for the kids to have room to play on the floor, as well as having your luggage out if needed. We also were provided a cot- which is wooden and a good size with clean bedding. Our main bed was so big, and easily fit all 4 of us when our kids would sneak into the bed to sleep. Pillows were soft but quite high loft, however staff replaced them with a lower profile pillow on request which was perfect. Comfortable mattress and bedding. Bathroom and shower impeccable and clean. Sliding door to Lagoon Access pool is heavy enough and lockable so we felt safe having our kids there. Lagoon pool and Beach pool both have swim up bars which is so nice, and also shallow areas (60cm) which was great for the kids. It's relaxed and quiet, which suited our laid back family as the kids were not overwhelmed by too much going on around the common areas. There are also some pool toys and baby floats if you need. No kids club- however we weren't interested in this as our kids are young. All staff we encountered during our stay were lovely and so friendly, especially towards our kids. They take time to remember your names and ask you about your day whenever they see you. The Bandha is right next to the beach for easy access. Great location to walk to nearby shopping and restaurants and close to mini marts/ATM. Security out the front 24/7 and very friendly. Mozarella restaurant attached to the hotel has a nice menu, and the buffet had plenty of options. We loved our stay and highly recommend!

10 out of 10! We absolutely love this hotel. The staff are some of the loveliest people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The hotel is immaculate and the furnishings and design are modern and opulent. We were always greeted with a warm, genuine smile and hello from every single staff member and were made to feel like part of their happy family. The service is more than excellent and every guest is treated like a VIP. Classy, fun and outstanding value for the price. The breakfast at the Mozzarella restaurant had quite an extensive offering, which was included in our room price and we had top-quality barista-prepared coffee every morning as part of the included breakfast experience. The pool areas an bars are very well maintained and staffed with very friendly and entertaining staff who know how to make great cocktails. This is a boutique hotel that offers so much more of a personal touch and higher quality than the larger style of hotels. Already planning our next visit with great anticipation.

We are currently staying at this gorgeous hotel Upon checking in we asked to cancel 1 night early. The lovely staff member Ani informed us to contact our booking agent as the booking wasn't made direct. She then informed us if the booking agent approved the refund they would process it. Agoda agreed and send through an amendment form to thr hotel for the refund, and the hotel declined.
3 x days of trying to reach a resolution, countless conversations with several staff members to then be told, no refund will be offered as the booking is non refundable!!! If this was the case, we should never have be given the run around. I'm really dissatisfied and disappointed.
The pool area is tiled and gets extremely hot on your feet. The pool lounges in the front pool area are reserved by pool towels and bags early.
The beds are really comfortable and the restaurant food I'd amazing.
Based on our experience I won't be recommending and I won't be back. I'd expect better customer service and communication from a 5 star hotel

This is our first time to Bali, and researching place to stay prior to leaving Sydney we settled on the Bandha Hotel & Suites. We have stayed at a lot of high end resorts but the Bandha Hotel & Suites exceeded our expectations. The hotel has security at each entry to the hotel and they greet guests with a smile and a salute. The hotel itself is exceptionally well kept. Check in was seamless and the front desk staff greeted us like family. We had 2 adjoining Junior Suites on the second floor that were simply stunning. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. The rooms were very quite which led to a good nights sleep. A test that we do everytime we arrive in our accommodation is to walk around the tiled floor in bare feet to see if housekeeping is cleaning the floor and our room fully. The Bandha passed this test each day. We knew that if the tiled floors were clean the rest of the room would be also. On that note, I would like to mention our room attendant, Aris. Thank you Aris for your exceptional service you gave us during our stay. The two pools within the Bandha are clean and inviting. There are plenty of lounges by the pools with food and beverage services available. The hotels adjoining restaurant, Mozzarella by the Sea has amazing food and will be mentioned in a separate review. So what makes this hotel the best we have stayed at?. It is quite simple, the staff at the Bandha hotel connect and engage with their guests. From the time you first arrive to the time you leave to return home, these amazing people are there to assist you in any way and to make your stay special. They want to know how your day was, they want to know if they can help you with anything. It was my wifes birthday during our stay, so the hotel arranges for a cake and card to be in our room when we returned in the afternoon. They did that on their own accord. Many hotels just give lip service. The staff at the Bandha are genuine. A very special thank you goes to Devi Crisnady -Guest Relations Officer at the Bandha Hotel. Her interaction with guests was exceptional, her smile and how she lead the front of house was wonderful. Would I recommend the Bandha Hotel & Suites - yes 100%. Would I stay here again - without hesitation.

Pavements /roads very uneven but as long as you are careful ,you could navigate slightly with a baby stroller .Rainy season beware as stroller not a good idea .Don’t see many people with baby strollers in Bali tbh
Yes you can but no shops will be open and no one usually leaves hotel as no lights or car, bikes on road. Everything will be in darkness. Just the one day . It's very enjoyable. Relaxing.
