Booked a couple of nights here for a short staycation but was very disappointed with the condition of the room and service received. Check in was easy and we received an upgrade to a plunge pool room but then it seems most people get this now and not because I am an Accor Plus Platinum member. The room was nice but very hot and stuffy when we walked in as air con was turned off which wasn't a great start but as we were going straight out not a big deal. Plunge pool looked a good size and the room was tastefully decorated with some interesting pieces on the walls. Returning to the hotel later it was time to use the plunge pool so tried to order a bucket of ice. Response was couldn't have 1 as the restaurant closed at 2pm so nothing was available. I understand during these times things are closed but can't even get some ice...thank goodness for gojek for delivery. Pool was nice but very sandy which I don't understand as this hotel is not close to the beach so why is there so much sand in the pool. The bure walls were covered in insect nests or dropping which wasn't a great look and not an area that I would use due to this. No food available for dinner so just ordered in as not much open so just relaxed in the room and by the pool. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of set choices but suitable for both local and western people with a couple of side choices. Service once the plates were cleared was non existent with no staff in sight so we had to go in search for someone to get another coffee. I asked at reception to have the room cleaned while we were having breakfast which didn't happen so we packed and left despite the booking being prepaid. During these difficult times I would think the hotel would want to shine and try to build some loyalty from new guests to the hotel but in this case I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Shame as it's in a good location and a nice hotel.…
Our daypass experience here was awesome! Tucked away in the Legian area, the poolpass sign was easy to spot. My boyfriend and I was actually booking a visit to Sheraton Hotel, but instead I postponed it till next month because of the crowd of some groups in front of the parking area of the hotel making me not in the mood for swimming. Okay, so we moved on, and looked for something else... and here we are in Mercure. The pool was pretty standard. It’s a small pool, but inviting. The lounge chair was kinda dirty tho’ but nice. Our fish and chips taste exceptionally flavorful; the snapper tastes fresh and juicy. Shoutout to Pak Made for great service and the trainee. Huge thanks! The only downside is that we had no idea where the shower was.
When I stayed there, only first floor rooms are opened. Few guests during the pandemic. Was upgraded to room with private pool. The hotels location is good, and the staffs are nice and accomodating. Definitely will come back.
Mercure Legian is one of my favorite hotel in Legian. Location is very good as it is in the center of Legian, so just within walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shops. Too bad, this time, due to covid, all crowd in Legian did not exist as most places are still close. All the staff are very friendly and special thank to bu Melisa, who is very helpful during my stay in Mercure. Room with plung pool is very nice
Comfortable, friendly staffs. Booked room with private plunge pool. Pool is clean and relaxing. Breakfast is delicious. They also host a bazaar during my stay. Will definitely come back again next time, thank you Mercure Bali Legian.
