I took my grandchildren aged 11 and 7 for the school holidays. Firstly we ordered an apartment, it was too far from the pool and action. So we were given a pool view room, it was smaller, but we only used the room to sleep in at night. We spent all day at the pool or beach or doing some...

Food a bit pricey at this resort. Great location across the road from the beach and only 20000 rup for bintang on the beach. 25000 in kuta. The accommodation is clean and reasonably priced. 3 swimming pools 2 more used by the kids so you can get away from them if you want to. Beautifully maintained gardens. Older resort than...

We booked our accomodation with the full knowledge that the Jayakarta is an older hotel. With 3 children aged 12, 10 & 7 our travel agent was briefed on an adjoining rooms requirement. Prior to our departure the agent again confirmed our requirement with the hotel. We were most pleased that on our arrival our request had been delivered. The...

My partner and I booked this hotel not based on the reviews of others but on the lovely photos posted online... How wrong we were! Although the pictures of the grounds actually match the lovely layout of the hotel, what the photos of the amazing pools didn't show were the schools of loud kids playing around completely ruining the mood!...

We'll I expected a lot and didn't get much. The actual hotel reception, pools and grounds are very nice. We only had a standard room so I was sharing with my son so we only had two single beds. This room was small and very uncomfortable. The shower and basin was dirty and towels were not replaced each day. The...

I stayed in apartment, in the 4th floor. For 3 nights.. But not as I expected... The room is dirty, I found a rubbish inside the tea cup, and they did not take it. many mosquitos in the room. For me, because I stayed with my wife and 2 kids (4&2 yo), difficult for me to find some food. This...

After reading a lot of reviews on the Jayakarta I was pleasantly surprised from the get go. Reception were friendly and helpful, our bags were taken immediately to our room where we were shown around and had all queries answered. The rooms are old and don't have open windows, door fly-wire or ceiling fans, however the air-con works efficiently as...
