I loved my stay there for 7 nights. The Manager, Wayan, was an excellent host. The room was of a great size and the air conditioning was excellent. The only problem was my room was near a laneway so bipping of the motor bikes in the morning was my alarm clock at 6.30am which wasn't suitable. Wayan offered to move my room to a Cabana room (upgraded at no extra cost) but unfortunately none were available which he didn't know at the time but that is certainly fantastic customer service with regards to pleasing the customer. I persevered staying in my room and because the Hotel is so close to everything, I had a very pleasurable stay. They may need to extend their choices on their menu but due to so many cheap restaurants nearby, that was no problem. I would highly recommend Mina Pelasa to anyone who wants to enjoy a greatly priced room near the beach and for shopping in Legian Street and Melasti Street. There are many little Balinese shops nearby to purchase what you need plus a laundry across the road and an Alfamart down the end of the street when you turn right out the front of Mina Pelasa. If you stay at Mina Pelasa, you won't regret it as worth the money and the staff are very friendly and obliging.

Really thoroughly enjoyed our time here, what a lovely wonderful place to stay. From the moment we turned up in the early hours of the morning nothing was a problem for the great staff and owner. The room was nice and clean and the view down to the pool fantastic. The food at the restaurant at the front of the establishment was really great, the overall ambience of the place really was refreshing and relaxing and we would return again.

Mina Pelasa is my new fav Bali accommodation. It's perfect. Beautiful gardens. Quiet but central. Only 2mins walk to anything you need. Beautiful pool & garden views. Very comfortable bed. Sufficient PowerPoints in room. Instant hot water. Nice lean rooms (cleaned on request) & manicured gardens. Toiletries supplied. Room safe. Black out curtains. Traditional balinese decor. Wonderful, friendly service. Yummy cocktails & food. Lovely pool. Everything just perfect. Not a single complaint. This is a 10/10 hidden gem. Thank you for making our holiday perfect Mina pelasa.

I am currently staying here and am far from impressed. Not sure how they got excellent reviews. I have been in Bali for 3 weeks and this hotel is by far the worst value for money. I came from a cheaper 2 star hotel in Kuta that completely blows this one away.
The room is a decent size with everything you need, nice balcony, good hot shower but be warned the drain in the bathroom has a really bad odour. It is not nice and nothing you do gets rid of the smell. I think they need to remove the stones in the shower as it may be causing it. Having said that the cleaners do a great job.
Not a quiet hotel, you hear traffic noise, music from bars and clubs and I have no idea where the really bad karaoke till 1am in the morning came from but it was torture that even noise cancelling headphones couldn’t fix. No fault of the hotel but sound proofing in rooms might help. Oh and the rooster will be waking you up every morning at 5am so wear ear plugs. All of the people who say it is quiet have obviously never stayed in a quiet hotel.
Food is average. I paid 30K for French fries - well 12 fries to be exact. Breakfast is woeful, fruit consists of 2 small pieces of watermelon and honeydew melon, eggs and toast that is cold and hard.
Don’t bother asking for pool towels, you just get crappy white towels because they only have 7 pool towels for the whole hotel. You have 22 rooms but 7 towels- go buy some more!! Some hotels now have pool towels left in your room when you get there. A great idea as people reuse them.
However for me the reason this hotel rates so badly is the staff. Apart from the 2 females and the older gentleman they are mainly young boys and the lack of maturity shows. They gather in the hotel (often on a staircase leading up to rooms) to smoke and talk loudly. I also saw one staff member throw a shoe at a bird and start laughing. That is unprofessional in my eyes. If you want to smoke and talk loudly go ahead but do not do it in front of guests, go out the back. I had to say something before it stopped.
This hotel has the potential to be a lovely little boutique hotel but needs a few changes. It has a great hard product and as it is a small hotel it wouldn’t be that difficult to make changes to the soft product. A more personalised service, more professionalism from some staff, strong leadership, a better breakfast experience, and you have the makings of a boutique hotel that could attract a better clientele and therefore charge more.
I hope the owners/managers take note of this review because I would love to see it improve.

I only stayed here one night for an early flight out. Firstly every staff member I came across was lovely and accommodating but the hotel itself is tired and disheveled. It definitely needs alot of TLC. The wall in my room (107) had what looks like rising damp, one of the power points was hanging out wires exposed, the mini fridge had black mould and wasn’t even turned on. The toilet seat was hanging off. The TV reception was so fuzzy you could hardly see. The bed had oil stains on the sheets; it didn’t look newly washed. There is a bit of noise around at night; motorbikes and fireworks. I had stayed at another hotel in the area that was $20 AUD cheaper per night, was much nicer also with a pool. I think there are better value for money hotels around. Disappointed with my stay.

We stopped in for drinks and shisha on our way home and were blown away by the great service. Nasi goreng & club sandwich was delicious. Will definitely be coming back just for pina coladas & Long Island iced tea. Yoga & Juli gave us the best service in Bali!!

Stumbled across this little gem. The food was very tasty and lovely. The staff, as always in Bali, were lovely. The prices were reasonable. Set off the main road down a little side street. Will definitely return - as long as they re stock on radlers lol

Stayed in a bungalow. Staff ok. Old but well looked after. A bit noisy at night. The pool area is not very big for the amount of guests but still ok. We would stay here again as very central to everything.

This is the first time I have stayed here, it is in a lane away from the traffic. The room was large and comfortable, breakfast was cooked for you and the shower was amazing. it took a little while to work out exactly where I was in Legian.
