This was our second stay at Bali Mandira . We we stayed five nights at the Bali Mandira staying in the junior club suite this time . It was lovely and clean, very spacious, the double balcony had views of the ocean . club benefits were included. We had breakfast at Azul beach club which was very nice. It included buffet and à la cart . all the food we tried was fantastic. We also had one hour cocktails and canapés at suling lounge each day between 4 and 5 pm. It was definitely worth the upgrade. All the staff were lovely . pool area is beautiful. Couldn’t fault anything. We also had treatments in the spa, which was lovely , we definitely would go back again :)

Bali Mandira is a great option for families! The pool area is amazing and has everything from water slides to a shallow beach at one end of the pool for little ones to play. On a Sunday night, there is an outdoor movie night held on the lawn ... which (despite a few technical hitches) was a great way to spend a lazy evening. Azul Beach Club offered really family friendly meals and everything we had there was delicious. It's so handy to have a good eating option onsite, although there is no shortage of good food to be found in the area. This resort is in a great location for Legian. We stayed in a deluxe cottage. Perfect size for our requirements (2 adults & 1 child) and the outdoor shower area was super cute. Based on online photos it would appear some deluxe cottage rooms have been refurbished as ours was an older style of decor that did not align with the images shown. However, we still like the room and would opt for a deluxe cottage on again on our next stay. The entire resort has a great Balinese charm to it…

Not 5 star hotel max 2.5.Good size room-decor is old and dated. .Place is suitable for families ,loads of kids unsupervised and babies and they all aver the place also loud people. Music (some people may call it music) played to loud every day this same from ghetto blaster in a pool bar.Pool is great but to small for a size of property is max 140 cm deep. .Breakfest standard and on a good note exellent location and lovely helpful staff.Hotel overpriced and not for couples.Never again!!!!! 7night stay November 2023 as a couple.

Good but not great stay! On arrival we were upgraded to a family room which was great, however the room has no windows or balcony and was therefore so musty we found it hard to spend time in the room. Our clothes smelt when we left. Didn't have the issue in any other hotel in Bali. Grounds are beautiful, location is excellent. Pool area is nice, however when we stayed the water smelt bad and went green, so obviously not enough chlorine. Buffet was good, could be improved. Lovely helpful staff.

This is a very busy hotel in a very built up part of Bali, quite unlike the other 2 locations we stayed in on our 3 centre Bali trip. The hotel is based in Legian which doesn’t really have any undeveloped space left - streets are very busy and the place is quite dirty (we saw rats running around in the street just along the road from our hotel!). On the plus side you are right next to a range of shops and eating places if you want to go out. The hotel grounds are a delight, beautifully well cared for by the gardening staff and this was a bit of an antidote to what was just outside the hotel gates. Our room was OK - a bit dated to be honest and probably not 4* as claimed but it was OK - apart from the terrible soundproofing between the rooms. Our room had a connecting door on each side, on one side we had very loud guests and on the other we had a person who was coughing so badly I thought she was dying of Covid - we heard it all from both sides all night. This was an irritation during our stay, not a lot the hotel could do to fix it to be fair but just be warned that the rooms in Block 9 (Superior Rooms) do have this issue. The pool area was very nice, with one adults only pool and another family pool complete with water slides for the kids. Breakfast was the only meal where we ate in the hotel - a very comprehensive buffet selection, something for everyone, food quality was good. There are a couple of other restaurants in the hotel serving lunches and evening meals and the menus looked nice and pricing seemed very on a par with the other places outside the hotel. Overall this hotel was OK, not great, just not a restful experience like the other hotels we stayed in on our trip.…

We were very happy with this hotel. Perfect for our family and friends who joined us. Hotels rooms were good, clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast, 2 restaurants, amazing spa, fantastic pools, slides for kids, kids club, beach front and an over 18 area (including pool). Beautifully lanscaoed. Staff were fabulous & friendly. Something for everyone. Legian is a little quieter which was nice, however Ktua is only a km down the coast libe, if you want to check out the hustle & buster.

The daily 7am yoga with Tri was beautiful on the resorts grassed area by the pool. We also lived the adults only area at Azul beach club. The food menu was amazing and a personal favourite cocktail, the island nectar.

Unbelievable place. Food was great, facilities are awesome and pool is just the best . Would recommend to anyone and especially family with kids. Will be back again with my grandchildren next year . Everything is close by and Garlic lane has lots of shopping .

Loved our stay at the Mandira as the location is fantastic walk out the back and your right on the beach and walk out the front and your at the restaurants and not far from Garlic Lane for shopping. The daily breakfasts are fantastic and the gym is also top class. The grounds are beautifully decorated and presented and the staff are very friendly. We had a superior room at the back but was on the third floor which gave us great views from our balcony. Special mention to the lovely Sri who works the reception desk and also the daily yoga class which is complimentary. I would highly recommend a holiday at the Bali Mandira Resort. Chris
