The Furama Xclusive is in a great location opposite the beach in Seminyak . Either side of the hotel has a long strip of a least 20 different restaurants of all tastes very family friendly and well priced . Only a short walk to the nick named double 6 street there are some great shops for clothes and shoes etc , plenty of taxi options or private transport are based at the end of this street. The hotel itself was undergoing some renovations to the pool and some re painting , the rooms are a good size and clean only drawback was the design of the hotel layout makes it a little noisy with the sound travelling up the middle of the hotel. Staff were overall prettt helpful and friendly, if travelling worthwhile ordering a blue bird taxi to the hotel door as they are good and cheap . Arrived and the staff can’t do enough for you, reception is spotless as where the staff cleaning her the grounds continuously. We where on the fourth floor in a 1 bedroom apartment, it was very spacious with a kitchen which had a micro and fridge and a small oven top, it was very clean the cleaning team called twice a day with us to make sure we had everything we needed including more free water. The pool is cool which was refreshing and the kids areas was great to keep our son entertained. The pool area was looking a little tired but if that’s all I can complain about then I’d still give it high rating as everything else was great. There is a few ramps and steps here and there when you come from reception into the pool area and fastens heading to the rooms. And lifts The grounds are spotless though. Great location step outside your on the beach atm to your right beside the spa and several little mini marts, it’s definitely a quieter area which I prefer and great for families. Onsite money exchange and spa and roof top restaurant which we had some meals in and they accommodated us as we don’t eat meat. Beside the restaurant there is a kids play area there is a few but a great play zone.
Would I return? Yes for sure Location is fab taxis arrive within 10 min of reception ordering Security is great also very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed it very relaxing and friendly Hope to come back this year at some stage

Arrived at our room, 227, okay room but no balcony at all like the pictures promised. Saw reception and asked to move to a room with a balcony, also had screaming pack of girls ( 8yr olds) right beside us, whose high pitched squeal went all day and night and whose parents never asked to stop squealing. My husband likened this room to a waiting room at the hospital it was so dark and dingy. So on day three we moved to room 323. What a change! This improved our stay by 200%. We had great small sunny balcony with a table, sun lounger and drying rack. It had ocean glimpses. The actual room itself was twice as big as the other, and our kids had their own bathroom off their bedroom. Pool area was great with lots of sun, but if really busy hard to get a sun lounge. Separate kids pool with a mini water park and an indoor play area upstairs. Very kid friendly hotel. Keep this in mind if you don’t have small kids- it can get really noisy. The breakfast is pretty good and you can sit watching the ocean. The lunch however was revolting. Lunch parmigiana was as big as your palm. The Nasi has no seasoning at all in the rice and had two school prawns which tasted off. My tip- ask for room 323 or one in that position, check you have a balcony requested, eat the breakfast but don’t eat lunch or dinner in that restaurant. Staff are friendly and absolutely helpful.

I will never return to this terrible hotel. It is stated 4 star hotel but it doesn’t live up to it. 1) Salty water for shower wash and brushing your teeth tastes awful, I have live at a lot of seaside hotels they don’t have this issue don’t blame on the location. 2) Some towels were old, the bed was outdated you can feel the spring in the bed, very uncomfortable and feels cheap. Got itchy sleeping overnight l. Toothbrush and other amenities are cheap and low quality products expected to find at no star hotel . 3) this area does not allow any grab or e-car service must take local taxi, even for drop off you have to pay 2000 to pass by this location. 4) Be careful at the reception, they don’t keep their stuffs properly stick on to their table, any accident they will make you pay, even for simple acrylic cheap stuffs, one the of most calculative hotels I have ever encounter, and you can yourself 4 star hotel. The staff even said it was my issue since it happen to me. The price for the hotel is affordable but for bali you can easily find better cleaner and better service. The only plus point is the space for family room. But if I can choose again I would reconsider elsewhere.

Chose this hotel predominantly because we are grandparents travelling with a 6 and 4 year old and it appeared to have a pool and play gym to keep them entertained and us sane! The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast included was wonderful. All the staff from gardener and cleaners to wait staff and reception were friendly and helpful.
So why only 3 stars?
Well, the play gym is NOT included and was not an option on our booking site when we booked otherwise we would have looked elsewhere. At Rph135,000 per child per day would have added a lot to the bill and the rooms were already quite pricey. This probably explains why we rarely saw a child in it.
The kiddy pool is ok but not supervised. The sign says adults have to supervise but parents were scarce and we saw two accidents between unsupervised kids. The hotel needs to take some ownership.
The main pool is bordering on dangerous. From end to end it is 1.65m deep. I’m 6ft 2in in the old measurements and could only just keep my head above water. There is no ledge to stand on so really difficult to take the kids into that with us. We just sat with them in the kiddy pool.
If you have older children it’s probably ok but then there is little for the older ones so?
Finally regarding location. Whilst it is on the beach road, there is not much around the area. And traffic is chronically bad - quicker to walk. Not the hotel’s fault but a put off.

I would rate my stay at FuramaXclusive with 5🌟 if these three things had never happened:
1) was auto down-graded to a diff room and not as online paid booking.
2) i was charged for vandalism at check out. I had to return myself to the room to witness on the charge and i found no evident of vandalism.
3) we was accused to eat mini bar items and replaced it with smaller size items. We never touched the mini bar items as the prices were triple the normal price, and we were very selective on our food intake.
My advice to the new guest furamaXclusive seminyak, please do a thorough inspection on the appliances, furniture, walls and existed defects after you received the keycard.

After checking in we entered the room, in general the condition of the room was fine. We relax on the bed without opening the bed cover. We enjoy activities such as swimming and enjoying the beach atmosphere. When the night came and it was time to sleep, my mother was suddenly shocked and screamed saying there was dirt on the sheets (human feces), under the bedcovers which were finally opened. We immediately contacted the receptionist via the room phone, but no one picked up. Finally we contacted the hotel phone number via cellphone. It took quite a while until finally an officer came and looked at the situation. Before finally the front office came with the room service officer. They changed the linen in the room. Out of disgust and discomfort, we wished they could swap our room. But they only offer breakfast as a compliment. Finally we intend to check out and ask for a refund. They made us wait quite a while before giving us the assurance that they would have to do an investigation to be able to come to a decision and come up with a solution. Because we came with 2 children who were very sleepy, we decided to go home and wait for the results of their investigation. Before leaving we realized that they suspected us because of the presence of the child in the room. We even explained that during our stay there, our child did not defecate, and it can be proven from the diapers left in the room. Within 1x24 hours, the hotel management did not give us any news. Not even just an apology for our inconvenience over the incident. And today, after almost 36 hours, the hotel contacted us and stated that our refund request could not be fulfilled, because according to the results of their investigation there was no negligence on the part of the hotel, and implicitly accused us of doing this. We feel angry, they accuse us without even checking the evidence we left in the hotel room. Our request is not for money. We chose the hotel with the intention of vacationing and resting. There is no intention to cause trouble or take advantage of the situation. The hotel management did not take our situation seriously. With the accusations leveled against us, we feel insulted and unfairly treated. As consumers, we hope that the hotel management can be wiser in handling the problem.

We also checked that none of our staff entered your room after completing in making your room at 09.39hrs 16th October morning. We stayed in a 3Bed, Bath, Apartment. Great size, Living Area Upstairs, Kitchenette, Balconies. Good Clean room. Could use some work to fix some minor issues.
Pool is good, kids loved the kids splash play area. It is a deep pool with not "shallow" end so you may like to bring some blow up floats. Staff and waiters around the pool were attentive and lovely.
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and ate at the Deck cafe which we all enjoyed. Plenty of amenities nearby to enjoy as well. We had two issues. The first was one of the children was sick and vomited on the rug in the living room. We then reported it to get removed from balcony. It took requesting this 8 times and carrying it downstairs and placing a front door for it to be removed. I would not recommend the kids room setup. It is NOT as pictured on the website with a potty training seat, tiny thongs - WE had 8 and 10 year old. I immediately requested ALL be removed and refund which was agreed on day one. On checkout I inquired after the refund and suddenly they knew nothing about it. The said they would do to a credit card but wanted to take a Photocopy of my Card to give to management to do. I refused to leave a copy of Credit Card for my own security and had to leave so just advised I was making a complaint.
Overall the hotel could use a little spruce up, some painting but we enjoyed our stay and would stay again depending on our my complaint is dealt with.

I was staying in 1 bedroom Suite and it was beyond my expectations. Every room has a balcony. Big living room, dining table with complete dining set, big refrigerator and also they put an extra 1L mineral water with additional charge, that’s perfect so I wouldn’t go outside to buy more water. The bed, the room and the toilet all are clean. A little problem to be fix that the main door in room 429, sometimes it’s stuck and find it hard to open. Kiddy pool with slide are my kids favorite, lovely place. Last, Thank you for the complimentary cake upon my arrival. 5 star for this Hotel. Will comeback for sure!
