Best value for us at 45E as last minute. Modern room not very large for Bali, but spotless clean, comfy bed and linen, functional bathroom with shower, large tv selection. Our cheapest room on groundfloor was a bit noisy &humid! Big hotel on main Legian street, which was dissapointed us on 13 Jan. 9-11pm plenty of pimps &chicks, massage &beggars but not crowded live music pubs or restaurants. But 3 day trips made a perfect DPS stop. Breakfast was very tasty, both European &local large selections, but not seen the omlette for 3 days at 7am. Helpfull & smily staff. Their street bar looks great comparing with 1.5km Legian street we walk, I would give a chance next time! Not saw mosquitos or geko inside, great in Bali!

This is a lovely hotel with great room and pool. Lots of space, huge bed and bathroom was a good size as well. Its was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in Bali with top value for money.

The breakfast was enjoyable with a variety of Asian and international choices.

All the amenities were there in the room (locker, tea coffee maker, fridge, hairdryer, etc).
There were 2 pools, one rooftop and the other on the ground floor. Views from the rooftop were best as the ground floor pool was enclosed so all you saw were the hotel rooms above you. Top floor pool also had a jacuzzi with a poolside bar. The place is very clean and kept really nicely. Check in and check outs were easy.

It is in a busy area of Legian. But its far away from main Kuta or Seminyak or beach side (you have to take taxi).

Overall recommended if you don't mind taking a taxi ride to nearby places.

Great modern clean hotel. Breakfast has an abundance of options, which also changes slightly daily! Great day time tunes by the pool. Rooms are relatively soundproof and we didn’t get disturbed by passers by even though we were in a main corridor. Non-balcony room is fine for this time of year as there was plenty of space to relax in other parts of the hotel.
Staff are a definite highlight and feels like your a part of the Sol family as soon as you step through the door.

Just stayed here for the last 7days. It’s nice clean place & nice people. Were glad we didn’t upgrade for the all inclusive food package. We had 1 overpriced breakfast a la cart & were highly disappointed in the food. Luckily it’s centrally located & there’s great food all around the hotel. They cut corners on the rooms by not providing any conditioner & very cheap shampoo & no hand towels. The rooms are nice but no balconies to dry ur wet clothes from the beach or pool. The rooftop bar & huge jacuzzi pool watching the sunset is great for adult hangout. My man Diva is a Rockstar Best bartender & made us some great memorable unique custom drinks for us every night. I’d say 3-4 Stars ⭐️

We stayed at Sol House By Melia in 2019, it was really great now in 2023 we stayed at the new Sol house with the new owner management.

Well first of all AC was not cold during our stayed 5 nights, we got upgraded with another room with the same AC condition, the management or staff were too lazy to even fix anything. So we had to put up with it this during our holiday.

We woke up every morning 3 days in the row like 7 AM with a chainsaw noise beside our room, the neighbor hotel had the gardener cut the trees starting at 7 AM. Still the management don’t even care. We called the receptionist and they can’t even do anything and just blaming the neighbors hotel instead of contacting them regarding the issues.

The breakfast were so tasteless so we decided to eat at Kim Soo in Seminyak instead. They didn’t even provide a basic good coffee in the morning.

The staff at the breakfast restaurant we’re not professionals, they were just kids start working at the hotel, they were barely understand what the guest want and need.

We went to the rooftop bar, well the staff were hanging at the bars like they don’t give a sh*t about the guest. They were smoking, drinking and talking at the bars and listen to the music. They just gave us the look and continue to drink and smoking like they are the guest.
I mean this is the first time in my entire life I checked in to the hotel with the staff they don’t give a sh*t about their guest. If the staff are in their on their day off please go to another bar don’t stay at the bar your guest stayed in. It’s stupid and unprofessionals.

My suggestion is save your time and money to book another well prepared hotel than this one. We had lost our time and money stayed at this hotel.

Good luck running this hotel at this bad condition in 1 year this will definitely go down.

Top Hotel, I had a wonderful time! the rooms are very clean and offer everything you need. Although the location is very central (shops, restaurants and the beach are very close) and it is quite loud outside on the streets, the rooms are quite calm. The breakfast-buffet is very delicious and dinner is tasty too. And last but not least all the staff is very friendly and helpful at all time.

A special greeting goes out to Asta, one of the hotel's drivers/guides. He drove/guided me on a very nice tour to Ubud, thank you for that! Was a pleasure for me!

My friend and I stayed here for a week. I loved the vibes and the decor, it’s very fun and caters to trendy, young crowds. We loved the pool, and had amazing massage/scrub/facial combos in the spa (located in a converted guest room). The staff were all incredibly friendly! We booked several day tours through the hotel, and all of them were great!

There are just a couple of areas where they could improve, mainly to do with organization. Firstly, they really need to update their website, because the day your prices listed on the website are pre-COVID and the tours now cost more but the website hasn’t been updated to reflect that. Similarly, the info on the website about the themed dinners is no longer accurate. There was also some confusion about which restaurants in the hotel were open at which hours. Then our laundry wasn’t picked up when we put it out to be serviced (although when they did eventually pick it up and launder it, the clothing came back so incredibly soft). If they fixed these organizational issues, it would be 5 stars!

Overall a very good stay!

Book 1 night stay at this hotel with no expectations at all, but then once we arrived we quite surprised that the hotel look very nice, start from the entrance we can see the decorations they put is very nice and everything is clean. Once we check in to our room the satisfaction getting higher because the room is very well organized and clean. The staff is also very welcoming.
But one thing, they didn’t have hairdryer for every room, so need to call and ask whether they currently have or not. In my case i need to wait until the next morning for the hairdryer because the previous day all hairdryer they have is currently used in other room.
But overall this hotel is exceeding our expectations. Very much satisfied and definitely will comeback again and stay longer next time.
#Ps: oh their rooftop bar’s jacuzzi is quite nice but the food ok only.

Location in Legian was on point. Surrounded by great dining and shopping options and only
a short walk to the beach.

It was a two night, three day stay in a big house room not is not necessarily big but the view to the pool and the balcony made up any disappointment we first had. Breakfast was delicious as it caters for any cultural requirements.
Two pools with enough setting too.
Don’t let deterred by the image that it’s for party goers as I had a teenager and and eight year old and they loved it.

Perfect for celebrating a special milestone or event as the venue is so spacious and caters for events.

Will stay again for sure.

Its a wine fridge . Doesnt keep drinks cold .but they give us containers of ice from the pool bar . And we put our drinks in that to keep cold. That is the only fault at Sol house Legian and we wrote to Melia to let them know that the wine fridge is no good to keep drinks cold.
