I had a bit of mixed emotions about the villa in the beginning. The actual complex is great, surrounded in nice garden. The villa has really nice entrance where you walk over a pond with fish, nice good size pool (aprx 10m long) living area and dining area. upstairs there is bedroom and another lounge room with mats - great for Yoga. huge bathroom with tub and separate shower. Location was good as we did hire a bike, nice couple of restaurants around the corner (turn left when you outside and walk for 1-2 min), nice massage place to your right. That is where my mixed emotions started. Villa needs some work, pool lights weren't working, decking has loose timber. Kitchen vinyl is lifting. Sofa covers are all stained. Breakfast is the most modest/small i ever had in Bali. I personally don't think it is worth to pay for a breakfast in this villa. You get eggs with mini small croissant and another mini bun with tea. or fruits. But after enjoying all the good parts you sort of start to forget about those maintenance issues. So if you think you can look past them, definitely worth staying here. Hopefully they will do a reno and this place will be a Gem.

The best place to staycation and vacation with couples or family, good service, good room, good food and big villa for 4-6 person. Very recommended villa at Umalas. Near from Raya kerobokan and Sunset road. The best papilon villas umalas, thank you for your serving to us.

We are seniors (75 & 79)and one of us uses a walking stick so the two flights up to the bedroom was a bit of a nuisance. I guess that I knew that they were there before I booked though. The apartment is huge, bit of an overkill I feel.Living, kitchen, dining & shower/toilet downstairs, two bedrooms and bathrooms and living (no seating!!)upstairs. Only the bedrooms are airconditioned so we found the apartment to be mostly very hot. The private pool was great but a bit lonely though. There is no general garden area so you don’t see anyone else. The breakfasts can only be described as poor unfortunately.Hard eggs, stale croissants, chicken sausage, tough toast. Best,I think is to book without b/fast and walk across the road for some. Some maintenance is required but it seems that they have started that. Great staff of course.

We booked for 5 nights at the start of our Honeymoon. Villa 6. Pros: • Own Pool • Kitchen • Big water cooler included • Quite area • Comfy big bed • Big bathroom • Breakfast included • Fresh towels everyday • Cheap and fast laundry service Cons: • Pool is freezing and dirty • From 6am the cockerels start and are very loud • Bathroom needs a good scrub • In general the villa needs a good deep clean • A lot of ants in the kitchen area (it's a bali and in the fields) • Breakfast is very basic and not great • Awful food from room service, use grab app for take out. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had an issue on our last day with Grab the taxi app. We used successfully for our 4 previous days. Cars and bikes no problem at all. The local taxi men would not let us use this service and insisted on blocking the hotel entrance. They wanted to charge us 600,000 and grab wanted to charge 180,000. So you can see our issue. Anyway the hotel staff were amazing and helped us move from the hotel to another location. So BIG thank you.

My sister in law booked us for 3 nights stay. We got Villa Paridisia during the stay. For me, my husband and our daughter it was our first time stay at the Papillon Villas, and we are quite satisfied with the facilities provided. After being told by our family, we know that they have stayed here before for a short holiday. so for my family it was their second visit. All the facilities and amenities were really good and well maintained. They have spacious area inside the villa, my daughter and my niece could play around the villa happily, also they were really happy with the pool. The staff were really friendly, always greet us whenever we arrived and depart the villa. When we call for an assistance, they directly did what we ask them. On the second day of stay, the marketing staff/manager (i forgot his name) was came in to our villa to greet us, and asked us about our experience stay. After all, the villa were really worth the price, will definitely come back in another holiday.

We stayed here for 5 nights in the “marinda” (I think that’s the name) villa. Originally only booked for 2 nights the day before, but enjoyed the place so stayed longer. For $130 (Aus) a night it was pretty decent. The staff are very friendly & happy to help. However we had a few times where there was a language barrier. The villa gets cleaned daily & bottled water is restocked daily. Bed was comfy & very clean & tidy. The bathroom was very big & amazing. Nice decent shower pressure (most of the time) occasionally it was weaker. Big bath tub. Wifi was average- cut in and out all the time. The pool was the biggest we had all trip & really lovely. With banana chairs to sit on the deck under shade- very relaxing. Friendly Suggestions: -kitchen needs a tea towel, and more utensils. -pool lights need fixing - fridge not very cold Thanks for our stay! We will come again :)

We stayed here as a last minute booking due to our planned accommodation falling through. Everything went very smoothly and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The villa was excellent and was exactly as it looks in the photos. It is away from the hustle and bustle but had some restaurants close by. It was only a short taxi ride to Seminyak- $50000 Rup. They could have more utensils in the kitchen to hell you cook but otherwise the place was excellent

Do not stay here, it looks nothing like the pictures and is a complete rip off. The villa was in massive disrepair. Booked to stay for 9nights over new year with my Husband and 2 young children. We only stayed for 1 night due to the following: Ant infestation Doors to the pool wouldn't open (someone came to fix them), then wouldn't close. Doors upstairs also wouldn't close (same man to fix them) None of the windows downstairs closed properly and during the night all blew wide open No water coming from the bath taps, had to get the man in to fix the problem which he did and said he needed to turn the water off to the pool?! No hot water in the shower and it smelt horrid AC in the main bedroom sounded like a steam engine and didn't produce cool air so we moved to the second bedroom only to find the ceiling pouring water in on to the bed After very little sleep, the next morning we spoke with the manager who informed us that he was aware of all the issue however he still let the place out! And told us we were too fussy! When I asked in which bedroom we were supposed to sleep, he just shrugged. We asked for a refund but he wouldn't give us one as we had booked and stayed for one night. He offered us a different villa but he said they were all the same. Needless to say we left. We have eventually received 4nights refund back after lots of back and forth.
