I had a bit of mixed emotions about the villa in the beginning. The actual complex is great, surrounded in nice garden. The villa has really nice entrance where you walk over a pond with fish, nice good size pool (aprx 10m long) living area and dining area. upstairs there is bedroom and another lounge room with mats - great for Yoga. huge bathroom with tub and separate shower. Location was good as we did hire a bike, nice couple of restaurants around the corner (turn left when you outside and walk for 1-2 min), nice massage place to your right.
That is where my mixed emotions started. Villa needs some work, pool lights weren't working, decking has loose timber. Kitchen vinyl is lifting. Sofa covers are all stained. Breakfast is the most modest/small i ever had in Bali. I personally don't think it is worth to pay for a breakfast in this villa. You get eggs with mini small croissant and another mini bun with tea. or fruits. But after enjoying all the good parts you sort of start to forget about those maintenance issues. So if you think you can look past them, definitely worth staying here. Hopefully they will do a reno and this place will be a Gem.

We are seniors (75 & 79)and one of us uses a walking stick so the two flights up to the bedroom was a bit of a nuisance. I guess that I knew that they were there before I booked though.
The apartment is huge, bit of an overkill I feel.Living, kitchen, dining & shower/toilet downstairs, two bedrooms and bathrooms and living (no seating!!)upstairs.
Only the bedrooms are airconditioned so we found the apartment to be mostly very hot.
The private pool was great but a bit lonely though. There is no general garden area so you don’t see anyone else.
The breakfasts can only be described as poor unfortunately.Hard eggs, stale croissants, chicken sausage, tough toast.
Best,I think is to book without b/fast and walk across the road for some.
Some maintenance is required but it seems that they have started that.
Great staff of course.

I got to know this place via Groupon too and to be honest, I was very much afraid that the villa would either turn out to be non-existent or really shady despite the photos because of the ultra cheap promotion price and the lack of reviews. BUT NO. IT WAS AWESOME. SERIOUSLY. I had hesitated buying the deal because of the small number of reviews of the villa on TripAdvisor and a seeming lack of sincerity in those reviews, so I was determined to write one myself after my stay. I even made a TripAdvisor account just to write this review. Here goes!

When my friends and I arrived at the airport, there was a driver waiting for us (looking for my name among the numerous placards the local drivers were holding in front of the arrival gate was the most intense moment because if there was no one greeting us, it'd mean that the whole deal was a scam :O) and we were brought to the villa in a comfortable, air-conditioned car. If I'm not wrong, it took around half an hour to 40 minutes to get to the villa from the airport.

During the drive there, you might think that the location of the villa sucks especially if it's your first time in Bali, because the driver will take you through a maze of rice fields and narrow alleys but fret not. Because as you travel around Bali in the next few days of your trip, that's just what Bali streets are like. Although the location may seem remote (ulu, if you know Singlish) at first, in actual it's not that bad. It's pretty near (less than 20 minutes by car?) some of the shopping streets and the Seminyak Beach which is quite a beautiful place.

Back to the villa itself, when you reach there, you will basically find that the photos weren't cheating you. It looks exactly the same! We were greeted by friendly staff and ushered into our villa (ours was Paradisia) and were really surprised to find that it really was such an awesome place. I even think that their photos on the website weren't good enough to reflect its awesomeness. There's TV, sofa, dining table, kitchen, pool, stairs leading to your two bedrooms and large washrooms with bathtubs, and then you climb up the stairs once more to the rooftop with an awesome gazebo with large cushions and a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. If weather permits, you'll see a nice, starry night sky at night there.

They take your breakfast orders for the next day and delivers it to your door just on time as you requested (be it 9am or 6am). They also clean the villa no matter how much you've messed it up and when you return at night after exploring Bali during the day, voila! The villa greets you in its pristine condition. In the evening, the staff even comes to help you adjust the lights for the evening mood (?) and also gives you goodnight cookies. I admit that I have not tried those cookies but that's sweet enough, right?

The staff, although not all of them speak good English, are really friendly and helpful. My friends and I had no itinerary planned for our trip at all- what we did was to get the map of the region and some tour package brochures from the lobby, and when we found what we wanted to do, the staff helped us call the taxi and make the bookings. In all honesty, they're all really nice people!

What did I miss out? Oh yeah, there are air-cons on the first floor and in the bedrooms, and the locks on the door all work perfectly too. Now, the only few things about the villa that was lacking were these: when you shower, the water smells metallic. That's in the case of cold water- hot water smells like rotten egg. If you can't imagine it, you'll know what I mean when you try using it. So my friends and I stuck to the cold water for our showers and although that was a little inconvenient, I think the whole experience at the villa more than made up for it so personally I was fine. In terms of cleanliness, the reason I give it 4 and not 5 stars is that being a villa which is well-ventilated instead of enclosed, it can't be as clean as what you would expect a hotel room to be. But it was still clean, no worries.

I hope I've written all I wanted to write. In a nutshell, our stay at the villa was great. Oh right, there's also a convenience store right in front of the villa so you can get your snacks there. But it closes at 10pm if I'm not wrong, and when we wanted to get some snacks at night the security guard at the villa gave one of my friends a motorbike ride to the nearest 24-hour convenience store. Not saying that the guard will offer you that every time you need it, but just to tell you how nice everyone there was.

Alright, that's it! I hope my review sounded sincere enough for you to make you want to visit the place. Please do, it's really awesome. I almost sound like their salesperson or something but rest assured, I'm just a student staying in Singapore who had a great time at this villa with my friends :-) hahaha I hope I contributed to making more people choose this villa!

I booked this Villa through Groupon Singapore for a 6 day 5 Night getaway with my parents and Teenage Brother. After booking I realised that there was no reviews on the villa on here and i was initially worried! I was wrong to worry! The villas are VERY new and have only been open a few months and I think the reason there was a groupon deal for them is to try and spread word about how FANTASTIC they are!

Firstly the villas had arranged a transfer from the airport and even though we were two hours delayed the driver was extremely happy and polite and pleased to see us! He took us to a very nice, new, comfortable car and the transfer to the villa took around 30mins from Denpasar Airport.

Arriving at the villa any concerns i had with the lack of reviews were completely banished. The villas look stunning, modern and clean and our welcome was fantastic. In fact through our entire stay all the staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us!

We stayed in a two bedroom villa and it was so beautiful. The downstairs is an open plan living area with kitchen, sitting room and dining room all facing out to a lovely private pool. The next floor had one huge master bedroom with a bathroom bigger than most hotel rooms i have stayed in! And one smaller room that was a great size with another en-suite bathroom. In the middle of the bedrooms was a lovely communal space with some cushions and a table to sit and eat your goodnight cookies! Finally the top floor had a lovely gazebo with some lovely views over the paddy fields and onto the sea in the distance.

A small gripe we had was that the water had a bit of a smell to it. I am sure this is just because it is all new pipes and maybe not been used very much at the moment and the smell went away a little if you left the taps running before you went in the shower or bath.

The Breakfast was adequate each day and we got a choice of what eggs we wanted as well as a selection of toast and croissants with tea/coffee, fruit and juice. It was cooked lovely and started the day off just nice when the porters delivered it to our very own dining room table and was already there for when we got out of bed.

I found that the hotel was a little distance away from the action, but in some ways this was also a good thing. The private quiet location seems to be a rare thing in Bali so it was probably a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the Busy Balinese Towns. The taxi into the centre was dirt cheap so being a 15min drive from beach and shops was not an issue at all really.

Overall, i would like to thoroughly recommend these villas to anyone, families, couples, friends, aliens. Whoever you are and whatever you are doing in Bali, they are a great base to come back to each day....if you ever want to leave that is!

First of all, we got to stay in this villa through Groupon Sg. It was unexpected. We originally purchased the deal for Dura Villas (which is also being managed by Premier Hospitality Asia) but they will be unable to accommodate us for 3D2N, so they suggested that we stay in Papillon Garden for 2D1N. They were very happy to provide us transport (FOR FREE!) from another hotel to this villa. The driver arrived at the hotel we were staying in promptly, and when we arrived at the villa we were welcomed with a number of friendly and smiling staff, one who helped us unload our baggage, one who settled our check in and one who showed us to our villa, gave us a quick tour of almost every corner, served our welcome drinks, and made sure we settle comfortably in our home for a day.

The villas are very private, and the interiors/facilities are perfect whether you intend to stay as a couple or as a family, or even as group of friends! The pool opens up to the living and the dining room, the King room is well lit and airy if you open up the window. I also appreciate the cookies they had waiting for us in the bedroom. The bathroom is almost as big as the king room, with a bath tub and an enclosed shower and toilet, and a big space in the middle (where maybe you can do yoga or your daily meditation ;p). The bathrooms are well provided with toiletries. The second room is just as neat and as nice, only smaller but was never denied the same coziness as the king room. It also has it's own bathroom, but without a bath tub. The space between the two bedrooms may serve as a chill out spot if you're with a group, maybe to play cards or just to hang around in. You could open up all the windows to let the fresh air in, but it's not too hot if you just leave it closed as the whole place is well ventilated. The gazebo beside the pool is also a nice add-on. And I haven't mentioned yet that the whole place has free wifi (and it's really fast) although I think you won't be so hooked on fiddling with your gadget during your stay there. There are total of three bathrooms, two en suite each of the bedrooms and one small one downstairs. The lounging chairs beside the pool was where we spent most of the time on.

This review isn't enough for me to describe how nice and private and beautiful the place is.. it made me want to stay in the villa the whole day and never go out or go home anymore. Every staff is so helpful and accommodating and everything is perfect. I can't even think of somethinf negative to point out. And oh, the villas are very new, a staff told us that it opened just this year.

Thanks to all the staff and the whole management for letting us enjoy our stay here! Everyone did a great job! Hope to be back here soon with my family!

The staffs of Papillon were polite and friendly. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our stay there is comfortable and good. The villa is of a good size (very spacious and big) with a working kitchen and a private pool. It is the perfect place for relaxation.

We stayed here as a last minute booking due to our planned accommodation falling through. Everything went very smoothly and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The villa was excellent and was exactly as it looks in the photos. It is away from the hustle and bustle but had some restaurants close by. It was only a short taxi ride to Seminyak- $50000 Rup. They could have more utensils in the kitchen to hell you cook but otherwise the place was excellent

I saw the villa on Groupon at a really affordable price so I booked it, albeit with some anxiety about whether it would turn out to be one of those "too good to be true" deals. I read the great reviews after booking it, but was still slightly nervous. Turns out we needn't have worried!

The moment we stepped into the villa, it took our breath away. It's incredibly spacious and extremely comfortable for four people. There are two bedrooms (with very comfortable and luxurious beds), two bathrooms (one of which has a bathtub and a shower, and it's the biggest bathroom I've ever been in), a living room with a television, an equipped kitchen, and a dining room area. There is a sweet little lounge area on the second floor, where the bedrooms are, and there's a small pavilion with cushions that you can sit on at the rooftop, which was by far my favourite part of the villa. Every part of the villa felt very comfortable and lovely.

The pool area is as it looks in the pictures, but it was rather dirty so we didn't swim in it. There are also a couple of lizards here and there but it wasn't bad enough to bother us. Each bedroom had a plug-in mosquito repellant, which was very effective in keeping the mosquitoes out of the room. There is also a safe in each bedroom for you to store your valuable items. My friend had some trouble with hers at first, but the villa staff came to her assistance very promptly.

The daily breakfast provided was okay, but make sure to eat it quickly as there are a lot of flies and ants around the first level of the villa, especially if you open the doors. Quite a usual occurrence in Bali. I would recommend the Asian selection over the Western one.

As beautiful as the villa itself was, the staff was definitely what made it such a wonderful stay. They are very hospitable and welcoming, and the check-in/check-out processes are as hassle-free as you can get. We arrived late at night on our first day, after our flight had been delayed by more than an hour, and felt quite guilty about the driver having to wait for us. But he was very patient and friendly! And everyone from the reception staff to the friendly night security guard (who was such a sweetheart the whole time) was really eager to help us settle in. They are very helpful with directions, calling taxis, booking restaurants, and ordering in food. Some of them were especially cheerful, and always happy to help. It was an incredibly pleasant experience.

We didn't really have a problem with getting around, although the villa is situated away from the main shopping/dining areas. As mentioned earlier, the villa reception is always ready to help you call a taxi, and they're so cheap that you'll feel like taking cabs everywhere. There is a convenience store right opposite the villa where you can buy food, and another 24/7 convenience store (Circle K) located about 5 minutes away by taxi. The villa can be unfamiliar to many taxi drivers, so ensure that you take down the villa's address or get their brochure to show to your driver.

Overall, this was a really wonderful stay, and I fully recommend this villa.
